I was really excited to eat here seeing it had been in business for so long, I expected some kick butt food!
Unfortunately it seems they are coasting on their name, cause the pizza wasn’t even roller rink quality lol. Now granted I got the big boy pizza. So not a 100% fair base-line, but im a big boy myself and love me some food.
Frozen dough is bad enough, but pre-shredded cheese? On a pizza? Not to mention the kraft singles(lol) not being melted! Goooood night that was a sad pizza to look at, and at 14$ for a 9in!
Pickle chips were good! Service not too bad! Atmosphere is great as well. I reckon it’s the local watering hole first and a restaurant second at this point, but I don’t know how it used to be.
Seriously though pre-shredded cheese is covered in different things to keep it from clumping in the bag. Trade off being it affects both taste and texture, preventing it from melting well or being homogenous once melted. It’s cheaper, and tastes better to shred your own!!!! I thought a 50+ year pizza place would get that but maybe I’m weird. I did write this long review after all.

Woodstone Court (Woodstone Court)
Although the service was good and it seems like a nice restaurant, the food isn’t good. I’m from NY, so I like good pizza, this pizza is served on cardboard, at least that’s what it felt like. They need to get some high quality, hand-made dough. I gave them a second chance and tried one of the entrees and it just wasn’t great. I had the chicken parm, which was more like a chicken tender on overcooked pasta. The appetizers we had were the only good thing we had.

My wife and I went to dinner with my uncle tonight. Appetizers were okay, but when we got our meals…. my wife’s lasagna was literally COLD. Like out of the refrigerator cold! The traditional wings i ordered were like they were leftovers and reheated. More like wing jerky or something. Terrible! To top it off, we happened to be there for happy hour and noticed we were charged full price for everything! The place looks nice and updated, but it is not good at all! Very disappointing!

Our first time there. We asked the waitress what she would recommend, she said the hoagie our what they known for. My wife and I split a pizza hoagie with pickles, onions, lettuce,tomatoes and a basket of Chili cheese fries with homemade chili. Her recommendations were great.

They have the worst management
and the employees are rude. My order was over cooked and I didn’t get a receipt and because they were closed and I couldn’t do nothing til next day and I heard manager Tiffany say why didn’t she call last night. Well they were closed. There drivers stay and talk to me and I get the blame. They are a joke. I have spent plenty of money there but will never step in that place again or spend another penny there. The teenagers/ others that are cooking don’t give a damn about the way your food is cooked. Tell them not to burn the fries but they still do. They don’t care about the customer. They care about the money. Which is a shame. Rude rude and rudder they are. Tiffany said they had a problem with my address on the delivery drivers. I said I can’t help that your delivery drivers stay and talk to me. When orders are taken they don’t put them as they come in, from delivery and dine in. They separate the orders and do the dine in orders first because they said there in there. What about your people that has called in for delivery? There shows you they don’t care about customers but they care about the money. I wouldn’t recommend this place for nothing. After the way I was talked to, wouldn’t eat there. I usually did delivery 2-3 times a week. Not now. I wouldn’t spend a dime in there.I used this place because I’m handicapped and you could get stuff different than pizza, and get it delivered. Delivery isn’t bad, and the drivers get the delivery charged.

Update: Busy night before Thanksgiving. Fast, efficient, friendly. Phenomenal food. Thanks for takinf the load off, this holiday eve! We were in town for a couple of days, attending some meetings nearby.
I’ve heard of Parkers but yesterday we opted for another local recommendation.
After having Parkers’ awesome sauce, enjoying in their comfortable restaurant, amazing service and food. I wish we would have come here two days in a row.
Great sauce. Different than the usual I get around here.

The food is excellent.
Music was blaring and I don’t consider a Sunday afternoon with family the time for such an atmosphere, personally. I couldn’t hear anything anyone said at my table, which is sad, that’s the whole purpose of sharing a meal together.
Food took a long time to come out, but I understand this, especially with a large group.

9/17/25 – We were there for an hour and a half before our food came out. Little to no attention while we waited, so much so that our ice had fully melted in our drinks long before the food came. All potato products came out incredibly greasy. Nothing was great. Rough to wait that long for food that wasn’t great. And then we were simply thanked for our patience. That’s fine, but honestly after a certain number of hours, some accountability is in order. In the form of some type of something being comped. But that didn’t happen. I can’t imagine a situation where I would be enticed to return.

I came here for the first time last night. I found a booth and sat down. I was quickly greeted by my server, who took my drink order. I was waiting on my friend to arrive before I ordered food. My server was attentive and was prompt with the refills.
Our server took my friend’s drink order when she arrived. Then we placed our food order. We didn’t have to wait long for it to come out. I was pleasantly surprised, as I ordered a large pizza and thought it would take longer. I got a pepperoni pizza and it was good. My friend liked her burger but some of the fries didn’t look very desirable. That was the only complaint with the food.
Overall, we were happy with our visit. Service was very good, we enjoyed the food, and the place was clean. I’ll likely return next time I’m in Georgetown.
