Great environment! Great food! I love the family atmosphere. The owner almost always make sure he comes to talk to us. He makes us feel so welcomed. The food is reasonably priced. This is overall a great spot to eat at and I will always support brunchies as long as it’s in business!

Well, if you’ve never heard of “Brunchies” now you have! And could consider yourself lucky! This family-owned eatery is a must-try when you’re visiting Carmel, Indiana. Personally I like the fact that I can get eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and French toast all in one order, no add-ons needed!
Larry, the head chef is the owner, and his food is delicious! With excellent top-down leadership one can expect the entire wait staff to be fantastic! Personally, my heart belongs to Anita and Sarah…my two favorites who are personable and genuinely care about the customer experience!
Of course Carmel offers many options for brunch, but if you love the classic diner ambience, friendly regulars and a great value, treat yourself to Brunchies!

I was the first customer on a dark morning. The food was delicious and freshly cooked. The bar and counter remind me of Edward Hopper’s ‘Nighthawks’.
I liked the wooden curved seats in each booth.
It’s clean and tidy with large photos framed on the walls. Ceiling fans spin above the lights.
The waitress was friendly and efficient.

On our first time in here, we had the BLT omelettes, and they were excellent. All of the tables are physically distanced and spaced far apart, and everyone was wearing masks. The coffee was very good as well. Great prices and great value and great service. They have a very nice mid-century Diner aesthetic and it is executed to a T. I will definitely be back here for breakfast and brunch.

I haven’t been to brunchies in a few years. It will likely be a few years until I go back. My wife and mother-in-law’s eggs benedict had eggshells in it. It also took way too long for us to be seated when the restaurant wasn’t that busy. I enjoyed my meal which was the skillet pictured below. I thought the portions were too small for the price we paid but the restaurant was crowded and everyone else seemed to be happy (if that’s an indication of whether or not you should eat there).

Friendly staff, fast and good food, diner style. This is one of my fave neighborhood spots; have tried and enjoyed all the typical breakfast staples — great place for a quick bite first thing in the morning. Great open, well-lit dining areas; also offers free Wi-Fi.
Restaurant has excellent COVID-19 signage and instructions. The staff all wear masks and adhere to social distancing practices when seating customers. Unfortunately, the customers are 50/50, at best, when it comes to wearing masks, and the restaurant is not currently requiring customers to wear masks to enter the establishment.
1-star deducted for having Fox News on the TVs. It just makes me wonder about the people around me instead of enjoying the place itself. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I honestly wasn’t expecting much because it looks like typical diner food. Which is usually meh. But everything was pretty good!
I got the French toast that crunches. It’d coated in corn flakes. The biscuits and gravy had good flavor and had just enough gravy. The nutty monkey was good because the bananas were cooked into the pancake. However, they forgot the pecans and whipped cream. So really it was just a chocolate chip banana pancake. I would go again

This is by far the best breakfast I’ve ever had in a restaurant. It was very clean and pleasant. Our server was spot on with our order. If you are looking for home cooking that you don’t have to cook it yourself. Then come to Brunchies. You won’t be disappointed. They clean the tables and seats as soon as you leave.
