Easily the BEST sushi in Oviedo. My boyfriend and I have been coming here for at least 4 years now and the quality has never wavered. The staff is so incredibly friendly and the food is always top tier. We have never had a bad experience here (and we visit at least a few times a month). I can’t recommend this place enough!

Honestly pretty disappointing. The food in the photos was $59 before tip and it just honestly felt like a miss for me. Even down to the amount of sauce given for the krab rangoons it was was just underwhelming especially for the cost.
Krab Rangoons:
Felt lazy, the more burnt Rangoons were stuffed at the bottom of the stack and we couldn’t find any chunks of imitation krab in it at all. Probably the most disappointing part of the meal.
Avocado fries:
These were for my girlfriend she is a fan of avocado fries and she called them average and they were cold despite us showing up 10 minutes before our advertised pickup time.
Philly roll:
Just ok really, to me this reminded me of an all you can eat restaurants sushi not a $8 roll. Also, I feel for rolls that differ between restaurants it should have a description.
George’s roll:
Again just ok for me, again I agree this feels like all you can eat quality sushi for a $16 roll.
Touch of heaven roll:
This was my girlfriend’s roll she said it was just an average roll. Not really what I expect for $19.
Overall: the quality just didn’t seem to match the price and I don’t think I will be back.

This was our first time visiting, and we will definitely be back. The sushi was high quality with a beautiful presentation, and the menu offered unique rolls. The service was friendly and prompt. We also liked the cozy, quiet atmosphere and were able to pick our table.

This is our GO TO sushi spot! Way better than the overrated over decorated SushiPop!
We love the small local feel, we go almost once a week, and we always get there right around 5 when they open because it can get full pretty quick. They also do really good to go service so we utilize that from them often as well.
Our favorite rolls are The Super Lava Roll, Volcano Roll, and the Super Crunch. We also really love the hamachi fire cracker appetizer.
The service is always friendly and prompt.
The atmosphere is a little dated and feels somewhat “dingy” but we love it so much it’s very local feeling. Not the type of place you go for the vibes all for the food.

Fast forward to 2025 and I’m a regular here! My favorite starter is the Tuna Bowl! My goodness, it’s an incredible fresh mix of flavors with tuna wrapped in an avocado ball, served with citrus sauce. My other favorites are the Pops Roll for the mix of fish and fruity flavors and the Black Widow roll for the mix of fresh fish and the sauces! This place is highly recommended!
2018 review: Small but comfy, quality Sushi! The menu is very extensive with a great variety of options and service is excellent! My favorite is the Dragon Roll and the Deluxe Fried Rice.

We eat sushi often and decided to try a place closer to our house, unfortunately it wasn’t a great experience. The sushi didn’t appear to be fresh and our rolls had minced up fish. The service was very slow and they also ran out of Chardonnay while we were dining. Definitely won’t be back and would suggest for real raw sushi in Oviedo to definitely visit sushi pop for a 10/10 experience.

Great litttle spot in Oviedo for sushi. The sushi is really good and scratches that sushi fix if youre looking for one. The establishment is not big, so if you have a large party or trying to get in during dinner hours forget about it. Also, they are kinda slow as well. There were quite a few tables waiting on their food or even to just been acknowledged by a waiter/waitress. Overall it was an ok experience.

We absolutely LOVE Hinode! The owner George and his son Keny are outstanding sushi chefs, and create some of the best combination of flavors out there! Our favorite dish there, and what I call the “Best bite in Orlando”, has to be the Scallop Shot! Just a spectacular blend of texture and flavors!
We also love all of the sushi rolls we have tried there, especially the Black Widow, and the Toro Toro rolls. The Summertime is also a fan favorite, as well as the cooked scallops roll. Food and drinks are well priced, and they care about food quality! If you’re looking for the best sushi in Orlando, then look no further!
