1st time visiting and don’t think I will return for the food. However, the bar was really big inside and I loved the diversity. Friendly people with different backgrounds packed the bar and surrounding seating area. The service was great but I didn’t enjoy my food. I tried the lemon pepper wings amd cheese steak. The wings were over cooked and the cheese steak tasted funny and I couldn’t eat it.
The bar offers Lottery, tvs, reasonably priced weekly specials and occassional bands.

First visit. Went in with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. Bacon burger and wings were excellent as were the fries. Jon and the Legends provided the live music and they were very good. Service was a little slow but the servers were running around and seemed a little short staffed. Nice draft beer selection. Altogether a pleasant experience. Would definitely return.

Always fun at The Emerald. We saw Good Noizz play and they were awesome! Bartenders friendly and attentive even though super busy. Food is always excellent and a step above regular bar food. Lots of seafood and burger/chicken options. Their fries are fabulous!

Great price for a cheeseburger sub on a Friday night. I asked for well done fries and actually got them. Guinness was poured correctly. An old building with some leaks in the men’s room after a heavy rain. The bar staff was GREAT!

What a hidden ! I was slightly hesitant to go in because I’ve never been in an Irish pub and wasn’t sure how the experience would be. Nancy was super inviting as soon as I came in the door and it made me feel like I was home in the south. I had the crab stuffed mushrooms and french fries for a light lunch and man o man it was delicious! The food was good, the service was good, and even the owner stopped by just to make sure I was doing good, so definitely a plus in my book and I will be back soon. Thanks Nancy!

Lady at the bar with glasses (9/29/25) had a dismissive attitude when completing a pickup order when i did nothing to her. I cancelled the order and walked out because the way she spoke to me compared to other customers was disrespectful and i had better things to do than deal with some irrelevant bartender. I told the manager the next day and she said and explained (with an apology) that the bartender was going through some things in her personal life, however, that is not an excuse because she was only being rude and standoffish to me and not to other people and honestly, I know it’s because I am Black.

Nothing bad to say bar was full so I stood where I thought I would get service and got a shout out from the cashier selling to go food what do I want. She took care of me before the bartenders could even get to me. Awesome

Great local Irish themed bar! Service is always excellent, but many times they’re under staffed. Food, for me is hit or miss. It’s consistent. I just don’t like how they jazz up some of their recipes… I guess I’m more traditional.
