This is my first time coming here, honestly I wasn’t expecting much since finding a good mexican restaurant can be hard to find when that’s what you’ve grown up eating.
I was surprised at how delicious everything was! I had the Katrinas Steak with Móle verde, while my husband had the Enchiladas de Móle Negro. We ate every single bite. The food came out hot and surprisingly fast. The waitress was extremely attentive and super polite the whole time. We were a group of 6 and even though they were busy they got us a table really fast! I’m excited to come again and try the molcajete!

First time trying Katrina’s. Walked through the doors and knew we would enjoy by the aroma. Start off with their salsa. Absolutely loved the salsa, it actually taste like mine. Ordered chile verde burritos. The plate was filled completely, the taste was so different, stood out compared to many Mexican restaurants. The flavors popped with every bite. We will definitely be coming back to eat. Highly recommend

On our way to a Utes game and first time here for dinner.
Service was excellent, restaurant space is cute and gives a feel for a Mexican restaurant.
The sauce on the enchilada was fantastic. The carnitas taco was yummy albeit a bit dry and meat could have had more flavor.
The fajitas burrito is just that, meat and bell peppers put into a tortilla. Was just fine but next time I’ll probably order something with beans and cheese in the burrito.
Can’t wait to come back!

I’ve been here a few times, and it’s always pretty great! The Birria Tacos are just about perfect, and the consume is very good. I also had a grilled Mahi taco which was very fresh and the fish was cooked perfectly.
If there was one thing I would suggest, it would be to have a spicier hot sauce option available, but this is Utah afterall so I get it. Only reason for 4 stars is the price, it’s a little steep for Tacos, but honestly, pretty worth it. My server was great and very nice.

Wow. Best barria tacos and nachos ever. Service was great and bathrooms were clean. Definitely going back. You have to spend up to get quality Mexican food like this. They were so generous with meat.

The chips were delicious! They resemble the indian snacks with spices mixed into fried lentil. The salsa tastes good too. Another thing I really like is the menu. It allows you to make combo of say taco, tamales, Poblano. I love the flexibility. My friend had the mole. It’s a bit sweeter than I expected but it’s hard to say no to sweet things. I had tamale with chicken and fish taco. I thought they tasted quite good. I would give it a 4 out of 5 for tamale which was a little dry and 4.5 out of 5 for fish taco which was good but not very memorable. I think more green sauce might help. But I love fish taco and any that is not fried is great for me! Again, the taco shell is a little on the sweet side, which again I can’t say no to. The beans and rice were fine but not memorable. Services was good. My friend said the margarita was good!

Delicious & authentic mexican cuisine that is made with good fresh ingredients, no fillers. You don’t leave feeling bloated and regretting it later, you leave feeling satisfied.

The service couldn’t have had more of a professional family restaurant vibe that takes pride in what they do.

You can tell from their delicious spicy salsa they put down from moment one that the meal is going to be a great one.

I will be back.

We really enjoyed this dinning experience, the staff was great and friendly. The service was lightning fast. The meals were better than expected from similar restaurants. We enjoyed that the location was in walking distance and that they offered outside seating, with room for pets. Next time we will bring our puppies. Finally the presentation of the foood was great, the taste matched the presentation and the salsa with the chips was phenomenal. We will be back!

We tried the birria tacos. They are good, though not as good as Los Tapatíos. They’re also expensive – 6.99 per taco, a la carte, or $16.99 as a platter with rice and beans. At Los Tapatíos, you can get quesabirria tacos for $3.80 a piece and at Sal y Limón, they are $4 each, so the price seems out of whack. The consume is thicker than at other places.
