Stopped by Double Dave’s Pizza and tried the pepperoni rolls — they were so delicious! Perfectly baked, full of flavor, and definitely worth the trip. I haven’t tried the pizza yet, but I’ll be doing a separate review on that once I do. If the pizza rolls are any indication, I’m sure it’ll be just as good!

Stopped by DoubleDave’s Pizzaworks as I was driving through Bryan, Texas. I was waited on immediately upon entering the restaurant. Staff was pleasant and very helpful with the menu items. Service was quick and the restaurant was clean. I inquired about a gluten free crust and they offered a cauliflower crust which I ordered. The crust was thin and crispy crust with a good and satisfying taste. They make their own red sauce which was also very good. A small pizza with cheese, mushrooms and black olives was $11.91. Not a bad price!

The absolute BEST pizza rolls in the entire world! Guys! This place has NOT slipped one iota and it needs your support. This is exactly how great places are forced to close; we assume they’ll always be around….but they won’t! YOU LOCALS NEED TO INCREASE YOUR FREQUENCY OR Double Dave’s will just be another restaurant cautionary tale. I can’t speak to their pizza…but their pizza rolls matched with that unique Ranch dressing are AMAZING! Staff was exactly what you’d expect in B/CS; very friendly and über quick.

Absolutely awful experience. My veggie pizza (ordered with no cheese) showed up covered in cheese, and my “deep dish” pizza came as thin crust. The order was 30 minutes late, and when I called I was told nothing could be done because it was a web order. To make matters worse, the delivery driver spent a couple of minutes digging in his rear on my driveway before bringing the pizzas to my door all caught on my security camera. Between the wrong food, the delay, the lack of accountability, and the driver’s disgusting behavior, this was beyond unacceptable.

Did an online order for pickup at the store and was sent an email confirmation with no eta or when to arrive at the store. I decided to give it 20mins and stopped by. Paid at the counter and then was told to have a seat and they’d let me know when it was ready. I checked in with the girl at the counter 3 different times asking how much longer and was just told “they’re working on it”. Finally after waiting over an hour and a half I asked them to refund my order. When the guy asked for my name, he said “we don’t have any orders for you”. I show my email order with the confirmation number and was told they can’t refund it. Then he runs to the back to get the manager and goes “oh your order is right here… it’s been sitting here the whole time”. So by the time I got home we had 2hr old pizza and a ruined evening without even an apology. Unacceptable customer service, especially since I asked for them to check multiple times and they clearly never did.

I love Double Dave’s and wish I had it in Arlington. The pizza rolls were fresh and not greasy. For my lunch it was $6. Shay was very helpful at the counter, the restaurant was spotless and a nice place to sit a bit for lunch.

Just no. This can barely be classified as pizza. Just because it’s round, looks red and has cheese on does not make it pizza. Nonetheless I had to try based on recommendations… they must not have liked me.
Bland, dull uninspiring. 4th graders might find this appealing.
I could not bring myself to finish it the way I bought it so I doctored the leftovers, and what came out was so much better than what I bought.

Take out ,I’ve never eaten in,but I live just outside their delivery area, not much but many places tell ya too bad if your just a mile outside ,they have been kind enough to drive all the way to my house for 5 yrs or more ,and the drivers are kind enough to give me good service and it’s always hot at the door !

I recently visited Double Dave’s Pizza Works and had a mixed experience. I brought a pizza home, and while I enjoyed the crispy pepperoni, the overall experience fell a bit short. The pizza was cold by the time I got home, and the crust was chewy. The toppings were a little skimpy for my taste, but the daily specials and variety of specialty pizzas could make it worth trying again.
Inside, you’ll find a casual setup where you order at the counter—no table service here. They do offer Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes, but you have to look for them yourself. The Wednesday night buffet looks intriguing, and I may give it a try next time, as long as the price is reasonable.
One thing I noticed was the canned and bottled beer selection, though I couldn’t tell if wine was available. The pepperoni and cheese rolls pictured online look great, and I bet they’d be amazing with some melted garlic butter!
The location is convenient, situated at a busy intersection. However, the staff could use a little more warmth—the first thing I heard was “for here or to go?” A simple hello or an introduction to the specials would’ve been a nice touch.
I’ll definitely come back, but next time I’ll eat in to enjoy the pizza fresh and hot.
