I walked in to place an to go order. I looked over the menu at the front door. The dish I chose had a price of $12.95. I gave my order to the server and tells me it’s $17.92. I verify that I ordered the right thing with him and tell him that the price doesn’t add up. The menu says $12.95. He then pulls out another menu from behind the desk and it says $15.95. He looked at me as if he couldn’t understand my issue so I tell him that the menus at the front door said $12.95. He then says “Yeah, not updated”. I laugh and ask him if he’s going to honor the price on menu. He ignores me and takes my $20 and gives me $2 change. Again, this doesn’t add up. So then the receipt says the price is $16.59 before tax. It’s shady. And it’s terrible customer service. To have a hidden 27% up charge like this is actually illegal. Food was average and not worth $18. No way.

I had a wonderful experience at this Indian restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious—full of rich flavors, perfectly spiced, and clearly made with fresh ingredients. Every dish we tried was authentic and comforting, especially the curries and naan, which were spot on.
The waiter truly made the experience even better. He was polite, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. He patiently explained the dishes, gave great recommendations, and checked on us at just the right times without being intrusive.
Overall, amazing food and excellent service. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to friends and family!

The food was flavorful, and the portion sizes were generous. I tried the chicken tikka masala, and it was creamy, rich, and perfectly spiced—exactly what I was hoping for. The naan was fresh and soft, a great complement to the curry. However, the service was a bit slow, and the staff seemed distracted. The ambiance was nice but could have been a bit more inviting.

Not good.
Ordered soup and biryani for takeout for lunch because I was looking for hot Indian food on a cold day. What I got was a sad, unappealing and overpriced version, inauthentic and not even closely resembling what was described on menu. Maybe they don’t have anyone who can cook.
Feeling scammed.

We went for a buffet dinner and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The food did not taste good overall, and the chicken had a bad smell which made it unpleasant to eat. The restaurant should really check their food quality and freshness. Sadly, we would not return based on this visit.

I didn’t love the music but I didn’t go there for the music. The food was terriffic. I loved the balance of spices in all their dishes. The rice were fluffy and long grained.
The roti was classic. Everything tastes like it’s homemade. Indian restaurants in most American cities cook with a lot of oil and cream. But not here. The taste was authentic.
We loved the chicken 65, papry chat, mixed vegetables and the ground lamb with peas.
Definitely will be eating here again.

We had lunch buffet there on a weekend. The food choices in the buffet were very limited with only chicken dishes. There were no lamb or goat dishes in the buffet. Also, the food was not fresh and some chicken dishes had weird smell to it. Drinks such as soda was not included with the buffet. The restaurant was clean however it was very dark with most of the lights turned off. The waiter was nice, kept refilling our water as needed and overall provided good service.

We were enthusiastic fans of India House and it’s downtown predecessor, A Taste of India. Unfortunately, India House has closed its doors and we are currently looking for a replacement. We decided to try this restaurant and found that although nothing we ate was quite as good as that previously served at India House, it was nevertheless a very enjoyable meal. One criticism I would offer is that the sauces were a bit bland for my taste. I am not referring to the level of heat, but rather the complexity and intensity of the flavors in the masala sauce and the rogan josh sauce. I was happy to find that the lamb masala contained bite-sized pieces of onion and strips of green bell pepper. Novel in my experience, but very enjoyable. Also the lamb was tender and generous, and the poori bread and side salad were excellent.
