We tried Dos Mundos for the first time today! As we walked in we were immediately greeted, and given tons of recommendations! The owner was extremely kind and helpful! Ultimately we went with the Santa Fe Spud (which you see pictured) and The Country spud! Both were excellent choices! The chicken on both spuds was delicious and the gravy on the Country spud was the perfect consistency! I asked for the chipotle ranch on the side so I could reheat my meal for another day and it was not an issue! My boyfriend also asked for no cheese on his spud as he doesn’t like cheese at all, and it came out correct, which seems like a simple thing, but restaurants usually always add cheese to his meals even after asking them not to. He was very excited that it came out correct and that we got to eat together for once! Highly recommend this establishment! We will be back!!

Absolutely love this place! The baked potatoes are amazing and stuffed (have tried 6 different ones and all were delicious). Literally can make 2 meals out of them. Love the Big Papi sandwich as well. Today, I got the fried pork chop sandwich with macaroni and cheese. The chop was at least 3/4 inch thick, tender, and fried to perfection. The mac n cheese was cheesy and creamy. Generous proportions and wonderful food.
The service is impeccable. You walk in and immediately your family. The warmth of the place feels like a big family gathering. Love this place!

Everything was very delicious, food was excellent quality for a reasonable price we ordered the big papi spud! Finger smacking good and also ordered the big boy spud and also the fried short rib basket , my son has never eaten short ribs and he absolutely tore them up! He ate every crumb. So I would highly recommend them to anyone who asks for suggestions on somewhere to eat. The staff are very friendly and we didn’t have to wait long for our order. We will be back maybe with stretchy pants this time lol

Ordered the Big Papi and Latino Spud. They were GINORMOUS! Bring your appetite or plan to share. Staff was so friendly and accommodating. They offered to cut up chicken fried chicken for the kids after hearing us debate what to get them. If I lived in Waco, I would be back!

Absolutely delicious, from start to finish. Best spud I’ve had in a long time, if ever. And the butter cake we had for dessert was beyond amazing… the perfect balance of icing and cake. The hostess was very friendly, too, and took her time explaining the various options to us and talking to us about the owners a little bit. We really enjoyed our visit and will come again.

I was so excited to go eat there with family and friend. But unfortunately when I pulled up to location at 5:55 about to walk in. A lady walked out at 6:01 putting up a paper sign saying they will be closing at 6 today!! I was so devastated because I was super excited to try dos mundos spud shack! Will give it one more try another day but not today unfortunately!
