Last night I placed an order at 7:51pm online using the &pizza mobile app for pickup. The app said the order would be ready at 7:57pm, but I thought that seemed a bit quick so I arrived at the restaurant at 8:08pm just to get them some more time. I gave the worker at the counter my name and she said to give her a few more minutes, it was almost ready. She was very polite. As I waited there for 17 minutes, some things stood out to me.

For one thing, there was a girl there who had been waiting for her order before I got there and was still waiting after I left. Then a couple came in with their already-picked up food and told the workers something was wrong with it. Finally, for several minutes I watched 3 workers try to scrape a pizza (which I think was supposed to be mine) off a pizza tray. They each took turns scraping, presumably to still give the torn up pizza to someone after, before giving up and throwing it away.

After seeing all of this, and being very hungry and worried about how my food might come out, I decided I needed to go eat somewhere else and left without receiving my order. It was very disappointing because we had ordered here before this location closed 4 months ago and really enjoyed the food, so we were very happy to see it open again. But this was not a good experience at all unfortunately.

The response I got from customer service was lukewarm at best. To their credit, they quickly refunded my full order amount since I never got my order, but then offered no credits or promotions for this extreme inconvenience while still saying they hoped I’d try them again. It even seemed like they were blaming this on “working out the kinks at a newly opened location.” Well, it probably would’ve been good to work out those kinks before reopening or at least give me a reason to try this location again. We won’t be back.

&pizza is to pizza what Taco Bell is to Mexican food: there is nothing authentic about it, but with lowered expectations it’s fantastic. &pizza brands itself as super edgy and hip and sometimes gets in trouble for it, but their flatbread pies are pretty tasty when you set aside all the crap. The “knots” are insanely good, and they also offer giant rice krispie treat things that are quite good. This location has been closed at points and I’m not sure what the status is, but I did successfully pick up an order a couple weeks ago.

The server Donovan was beyond rude disrespectful, and he overcharged me for a cheese pizza and told me because I got the drizzle of hot honey and garlic that it was supposed to be $16. I don’t know if this young man was having a bad day or what but please don’t go in there. I no longer will support this establishment. I will go in Sunday through Wednesday and I have so many receipts that have same price and the fact that you overcharged me because you were having a bad day is unbelievable. I’m done with &pizza.

Be careful over here with online orders as these fools will get you. Submitted order with pickup time around 1:10pm today. Pulled up and store is closed with no notifications or nothing. Another unfortunate customer was also duped (he was waiting when I pulled up).

Good luck getting a refund, forget about talking to a human to resolve your issues. Contact info is sparse, gotta go through their janky app to try to resolve your problem.

I love the concept of &pizza, and at their best it’s great, but their customer service and execution is way too inconsistent. I know more bad locations than good ones. I see why some locations have closed. I can’t imagine this business will last long Ìf significant changes aren’t made. They got me tight right now !

Edit: after a few days of radio silence, &pizza customer service reached out to me and gave me a refund, as well as a free order of knots. On the basis of this I’m upping my review from 1 star to 3 stars. I’m willing to give this location another try IN-PERSON, and FWIW, the one time I’ve ordered from this location, my pizza was GOOD. That said, I don’t think I’ll be trying online orders from them ANY TIME SOON. It wouldn’t have been as big a deal for me if the refund was much more timely. But to wait days without any contact from the company about my order, not knowing if I would even be addressed or not, yeah, I’d rather not deal with these type of situations again if I can avoid them.

First off you cannot order on site, you had to order online or thru the app. We didn’t want to order online because there was 48 minute wait and I like to watch people make my food. The location makes no mention that you cannot dine in or order inside. We’ll we ended up waiting in the car for about that time because we drive all the way there. My issue is the condition of just made pizzas. I don’t like my pizza over cooked . I paid $50 for 4 pizzas that I’m not totally satisfied with. One pizza had shrimp that wasn’t ordered on it and please tell me where the broccoli is on the 2 that was ordered? Like make pizza the way you would make yours..seriously. will not be going back to this location. If at all.

This place is trash. You take too damn long for some hot oven pizza. When there is a surge in traffic this location cannot handle. I’m willing and able to pay three times the cost for expediency before I give my money to you.

All of their pizzas are unique and delicious combos. The sodas are pretty good, love that they’re in specialized cans now.

I ordered via the UberEats app and…it was a bit disappointing, it was cold by the time it got to me and the first time I ordered they didn’t even include the drink, also half on the drivers part because he said nothing.

It’s a little pricey, definitely a hipster tax, wouldn’t really recommend as an often restaurant choice, just when you wanna switch it up.

Food is decent when they actually have the items you order in stock, but they also have been systematically getting rid of basically all of the good toppings they have/add for years while simultaneously raising prices. I’ve had good experiences in the store, but the past few have been not great.

Today I went to pick up an order from their own app. When I got there, I waited at the front for at least 5 minutes to even be acknowledged, even though the store was almost empty. There were at least 3 staff working at a mostly glacial pace. When I was finally helped, they informed me that they were actually out of the garlic sauce, 1 of the 2 toppings I got on the pizza. I also paid extra for a side of garlic sauce. I asked to be refunded. They made me wait several minutes to tell me they couldn’t refund app orders, and then put my pizza behind the counter. I had to ask for them to give me my pizza since I had already paid for it, and they said they couldn’t refund me. They offered no other alternatives, like maybe adding a different topping. They just acted like I was crazy for asking for a refund for something I paid extra for and didn’t get. Not to mention the pizza was dry and kind of gross without the garlic drizzle.
