Absolutely wonderful high tea experience. The atmosphere had great southern plantation wrap around porch vibes, with beach and Banyon tree views to boot. We did the Royal High Tea, and every course was delicious and well executed. Definitely recommend it for the tea mimosa flight. Big shout out to Alex, our server, who added a special touch to the occasion with his delightful demeanor, kind service, and attention to detail. Thanks for the wonderful experience!

Shout-out to our server Daniel who made our first Afternoon Tea so memorable. He was attentive, thoughtful and served us with such joy that it made our time celebrating our Anniversary That much more pleasant.
The venue is stunning and the attention to detail for the ambience is impressive.
The food was filling and delicious. I ordered the Classic Tea while my husband got the Duke’s Tea and he added the beer flight. We got the Classic Coconut Tea and the Peach Tea. Both were automatic and flavorful.
I highly recommend coming and suggest getting reservations for your party. You will not be disappointed.

Located inside the Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort & Spa, The Veranda offers a lovely breakfast buffet experience. We dined at the buffet ($40 per person), which featured a well-balanced mix of local Hawaiian dishes and classic American fare. Our waiter, Daniel S., was impeccable, providing attentive and genuinely warm service that made the morning feel relaxed and special. A wonderful way to start the day in Waikīkī.

The meal was served buffet style and was geared towards Japanese people.
It’s a bit tough to eat if you expect it to taste the same as in Japan, but it’s not a problem when you want to eat Japanese food.
The view and the warm hospitality of the staff were better than anywhere else!
Thank you very much.
I would definitely like to stay again next time.

The wife and I had afternoon tea here. At first I thought it would be a gimmicky typical tourist trap. I will admit that I was totally wrong. The service was perfect and the views were even more so. The food was a solid 4 out of 5. I got the Duke set and my wife got the royal tea set. No complaints on that front. The Tea was genuinely a highlight, as it should be. Unique, smooth flavors that we couldn’t stop drinking. I highly recommend this experience for a couples date! 4.5 overall!

Daily continental breakfast was a great addition to our Moana Surfrider reservation. Come early for prime seating on the charming porch up close to the surf and next to the sprawling great banyan tree. Fresh cut fruits, juices, croissant, danish, and unending coffee with each Waikiki sunrise. Or sub in gluten free toast, if desired. Accommodating service never fails.

We were overwhelmed with the the dining experience at Veranda at the Beachhouse in the Moana Surfrider. It was like stepping into a magical time machine! Located next to the iconic 100-year-old banyan tree, this spot is the housed in the oldest hotel in Hawaii, and you can feel the history. The colonial vibes and stunning beach views made us feel like we were transported back to the 1930s—pure elegance with a side of ocean breeze.

The food? Next level. Every dish showed with such care, using super fresh, high-quality ingredients. The mochi waffle was an absolute bomb, it’s to die for! Loved the pancakes with popping boba filled with lilikoi juice; it’s like they thought of every tiny detail to make it special. The menu isn’t huge, but everything is top-notch. Oh, and the mango smoothie? Perfection in a glass.

The staff here embody that warm Hawaiian hospitality. When they heard we were celebrating our anniversary, they went out of their way to seat us at a prime beach-view table—what a treat! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We were bummed we couldn’t try their famous afternoon tea (our friend Nadine can’t stop raving about it), but it’s only served on weekends, and we had to head back home on Friday.

If you’re looking for a magical dining experience with incredible food and views, Veranda at the Beachouse is a must. We’re already dreaming of coming back!

Celebrated my girlfriend’s birthday here for some tea. It was indeed a beautiful one. Relaxing, service was great!
For me, prices were reasonable considering the location is in Waikiki. We enjoyed it and will definitely go back. It’s nice to play tourists sometimes. Leave only footprints, take only memories ♥️

We visited early with the 6am crowd since we are normally on East Coast time. The service we received on the outside patio was impeccable. Jerry and Scott were all stars.

We chose the breakfast buffet, which included made to order pancakes, waffles, and omelets.

1. Blueberry orange granola pancakes – these were very tasty. (5/5 )

2. Mochiko waffles – I really enjoyed these. The crisp texture on the outside with the fluffy middle was perfect. (5/5 )

3. Overall, the buffet had quality items with local favorites. The juice bar was great with a variety of fresh juices to choose from.

The atmosphere and view were unbeatable.
