The kabobs are on another level. The chicken, chenje, and koobideh are the best I have had in the region. They are incredibly flavorful, perfectly juicy, and melts in your mouth with every bite.
The special dishes, sides, and appetizers were just as impressive. The gheymeh bademjoon, ghormeh sabzi, kashke bademjoon, and yogurt dip were prepared beautifully and tasted deeply authentic. These dishes brought back such warm memories and reminded me of my grandmother’s cooking.
What really makes Maman Joon stand out, even more than the food, is the kindness and hospitality of the staff. The owner Peter, the manager Mr. Sami, the young lady at the register, and the kind chef all went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed from the moment we walked in.

Delicious food and outstanding, gracious service. Complementary pita bread and two dips were served when we sat down. The beef kubideh (kabob) was perfectly cooked, juicy and delicious! Shirazi salad and Kashk e’ bademjan (eggplant) were also delicious and excellent complements to the meat. We also loved the lightly sweetened tea. Parking is easy and convenient. What a wonderful addition to Montgomery Mall!
