Warmly greeted and welcomed. Service was great and helpful. Food was great. Best menudo I’ve had recently, sopes were piled high and delicious (pastor and barbacoa were yummy). I loved their variety of salsas. They also mentioned on Tuesday they have a special for 4 tacos, a side, and soda for $8. We will be coming back to try more of their menu.

My go-to order is always the flautas and elote—so good every single time! As a teacher, I sometimes really crave a hot, comforting Mexican meal that’s delicious and affordable, and this place never disappoints. The points system adds up fast (huge bonus!), and today I’m especially excited because I’m trying their pozole—free with my points!

On top of great food, they have fast delivery, affordable delivery fees, and an easy texting system that keeps you updated on your order and when it’s en route. You can even text the driver directly if needed, which makes delivery super smooth.

Highly recommend!

An absolute gem in Arlington. Shout out to my man Jose who created a special request torta for me. I’ve been looking for places that can perfect a chilaquiles torta (had too many in El Paso) that I just haven’t been able to find in DFW.

They explained it was currently on their menu but they can try and make it. This thing was did not only look beautiful but tasted absolutely amazing. Not greasy, not heavy, just perfect. Service is always perfect and the staff is overall great. It’s our new business lunch spot. Shameless plug, if you’re looking for a new vehicle visit Longhorn Auto Group or Maverick Auto Sales. Get $500 off if you mention this spot!

This place is truly amazing. The restaurant itself is decorated in vibrant colors. The tacos are delicious. I love that the cilantro and onions are put on the side for you. The salsa bar is perfect!

Very hesitant with Mexican franchisees, but this one though ? Is good, service amazing, environment friendly and not too crowded, plenty of salsas, the hamburger was good even though I asked for the biggest one they had. Flavor, authenticity I wish they had some tortillas or similars but overall a good experience.

This review so cheesy it should come with chips.

GuanaTaco? More like Guana‑Talk‑about how good these tacos are.

Funny thing is, this wasn’t even the plan. I’d actually set out to visit Mascaras in Dallas — the one owned by Zulma V. Hernández and Rodolfo Jiménez — but they were still closed for the holidays. So we headed home, a little disappointed, until that big GuanaTaco sign jumped out like a plot twist. And when I realized it had a luchador theme too, it felt like fate dropping in from the top rope.

Walked into GuanaTaco thinking I’d just grab a bite, but the colors pulled me in, all loud and bright. Luchador masks watching like they’re guarding the door, and the music hit harder than a two‑count floor.

The salsa bar shimmered — a Guana‑see‑it glow — each bowl daring me to pick it, like “come on, bro.” My tacos lined up, ready for their moment to shine, carnitas so tender they nearly crossed a line.

Barbacoa whispered secrets, asada played it cool, and suddenly I’m sitting there, breaking every food rule. My partner’s gorditas — cactus and potato in a warm embrace — left me in a prickly situation I’m still trying to face.

And just to be clear: this isn’t a white‑tablecloth place — it’s a local, Mexican‑owned spot where you order at the counter and the vibe does the rest. The service is simple and straightforward, exactly what you expect from a place like this, and the bilingual staff keeps things moving. What earns the 5 stars for me is the flavor, the value, and the fun atmosphere. It’s not trying to impress; it’s just doing what it does really well.

If loving this place is wrong, I don’t Guana‑be right; and if flavor leaves tracks, they blaze through the night, calling me back with a pull that’s outright — a taco‑lit path I refuse to fight.

Provecho everyone!

Great Tacos, Awesome Spot in Arlington!

I recently visited Guanataco in Arlington and was really impressed! The place has a fun, welcoming vibe and the staff were friendly and attentive. The tacos were fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care — you can tell they use quality ingredients.

Every taco I tried hit the spot, especially the beef and al pastor — absolutely delicious. The only small miss for me was the chicken taco; it could use a bit more seasoning and a better sear or char to bring out the flavor. Still, it wasn’t bad, just not as amazing as the others.

Overall, Guanataco is a fantastic place for authentic, tasty tacos. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their menu. Highly recommend giving it a shot if you’re in the area!

If you’re looking for the best tacos in Arlington, TX, look no further than Guanataco Arlington! This family-owned Mexican restaurant is an absolute gem and hands down my new favorite spot for authentic tacos, birria tacos, and Mexican street food. The tortillas are made fresh, the meats are perfectly seasoned, and every bite tastes like a piece of Mexico right here in Arlington. I especially recommend their birria tacos with consomé—rich, flavorful, and unforgettable.

Not only is the food incredible, but the staff here make you feel like family. Service is always welcoming, fast, and friendly. The atmosphere is vibrant and cozy, making it the perfect place for lunch, dinner, or takeout in Arlington. You can tell the owners truly care about quality and community.

I’ve tried many taco spots in DFW, but Guanataco stands above the rest. Whether you’re craving street tacos, quesadillas, burritos, or their famous birria, you will leave happy and full. This is the kind of place you’ll keep coming back to and recommend to everyone you know.

Pro tip: Try the agua frescas with your meal—they’re the perfect refreshing complement to the bold flavors.

If you’re searching Google for “tacos near me in Arlington” or “authentic Mexican food Arlington TX”—stop scrolling and just come here. Guanataco Arlington deserves every bit of praise, and I guarantee you’ll be blown away!
