Always a great time here.
We recently visited for our anniversary, and our server Maddie made it special-we showed up a little later than we should’ve (815) but she stayed past closing to take care of us.
The food was cooked to perfection, literally had 0 complaints. The cook temp was exactly what we asked for, a beautiful medium rare.
Drinks were mixed well, definitely on the stronger side but still great.
A huge thank you to whoever was working the kitchen last night, and an even bigger thank you to our server Maddie. She was so sweet and attentive.

Expectations lost!! My husband and I ordered surf and turf. Steaks ordered medium rare were burnt in the sides and raw in the middle. Lobster I couldn’t cut out of the shell so I sent it back to the kitchen. Crab legs were stringed out. Martinis were under shaken and not cold. Waitress was very pleasant though! She credited the lobster but honestly 200$ for crap food…?I will never go back.

Im a local and hadn’t been to this resteraunt for years.
We had 7 people in our group. We had reservations for 6:00 pm. There where only 2-3 orher tables with customers. We where seated imediatly and our drink orders taken in a reasonable amount of time. Several people in our party ordered Ribies. A couple had Surf and Turfs. It was 7:45 when our food finally arrived. The steaks where cold. The loaded mash potatoes where cold to the point of being hard. The surf and turf prime rib where also cold.
I don’t like leaving negative reviews for local businesses but I do have to leave accurate ones. For nearly 100.00 a plate we had high expectations. For a total of 600.00 for 7 people it was very expensive and disappointing.
I personally don’t send food back at a resteraunt. I don’t complaine to the waitress or try to get compensated in any way. I pay for my meal and I leave.

This is such an excellent place to eat! Been one of my Favorites for years! Can eat in the restaurant or can sit at the bar. Food is so amazing, no matter what you choose from the menu! Good place to go on date!

We visited this restaurant this weekend and I was hoping for an amazing experience based off the prices but I was disappointed. The rolls they served before dinner were not soft. My prime rib was hard to cut and chewy. The gravy on my daughter’s beef stroganoff was bland and the texture was like those gravy packets you buy from the store and just add water. My nephew ordered the Tomahawk steak for his birthday for an $85 splurge and the meat was underseasoned, relying on the cup of garlic seasoned butter on top of it for flavor which he felt was way too garlicky. We ordered 6 meals with 2 non alcoholic drinks and it was $385.00 dollars. On the bright side, the waitress and service was amazing.

Onion ring and their ranch is a bomb! Very delicious!

We’ve been here before and the pasta was very good! So we decided to ordered the same dishes again, but to be honest we were disappointed. We ordered Beef Stroganoff Pasta, the meat was overcooked and dry, T-bone steak, also tough meat and Fettuccine Alfredo with broccoli. All these dishes was bland. with their prices I really wish the food was good like before.

The good side are the presentation of the food are nice, the food came out hot and fresh. And the waitress is amazing!!!

I recently dined at this restaurant and have mixed feelings about the experience.

On a positive note, it was refreshing to find a restaurant that still serves escargot, a dish that has become increasingly rare at many establishments.

However, I must mention that the prices at this place have significantly increased. My guest and I both felt that the prices were about 20% higher than they should be, which makes it less suitable for those on a tight budget. This aspect definitely warrants reconsideration.

On a brighter side, the service we received was excellent. The wait staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, leaving us with no complaints in that department.

However, the presentation of the dishes did not match the high prices. Although my guest and I opted for pasta to save on costs, the dishes were merely average and didn’t justify the amount we paid.

Overall, both my guest and I miss the old restaurant and its previous business model. Unfortunately, it falls short of our expectations and doesn’t live up to its former glory.

Used to really like white mountain mining, but the last several times have been disappointing, prime rib over cooked and tough, 6 oz ? lobster barely a bite! Food does not warrant their prices! Drinks spendy. Service just ok on a slow night. We’ve given them several chances, will not be going back.

Me and my husband went out for what we were hoping to be a nice date night with great food. We were very unimpressed. I ordered the ribeye, which came out alot smaller than the advertised portion and he had the surf & turf (prime rib and king crab). His prime rib was about the thickness of 2 slices of bologna and when he broke into the crab,it looked like half of the meat was missing. When we came in ,it smelled like burnt plastic, and when we were being seated, she tried to sit us next to the kitchen,so we asked to sit somewhere more quiet, instead set by a table full of oil field guys, who were drunk and extremely loud. We paid over $200 for this meal. Due to everythign,we just paid the bill and tip and boxed our food up and left. …..needless to say,we won’t be back.
