I get takeout from Highland from time when I am down that way for my regular chiropractic appointments (my chiropractor is right next door over at Universal Athletic Club). My absolute favorite is the Highland Special Pizza, which is basically like a supreme pizza. I can say hands-down that is the best pizza I’ve ever had in my 46 years on this earth. I have also gotten their Highland Cheesesteak (contains beef steak, sautéed onions, mushrooms, green peppers, and pepperonis, topped with a homemade marinara sauce, and American cheese), chicken quesadillas and their cheesesteak eggrolls. They are all super good and what made me decide to try them out was that I would be in the parking lot over at the gym going to my chiropractor and I would smell the food from Highland and drove me crazy lol. Glad I finally decided to give them a try. I recommend them to everybody I know.

Food cooking is so inconsistent. I’ve had pizza under cooked, nachos not even toasted and cheese cold, their burgers are not good in general. The service dining in is careless and not great. Never came to refill drinks. We also have ordered to go and picked up pizza and have been given the wrong pizza and told they want the wrong one back, to get the proper one, on top of having to drive the whole way back for their mistake. We asked to pay for the additional pie just because we did not feel comfortable returning it when we didn’t know what would be done with it, and we were all sick with fevers. Coming here for drinks is fine but food is so hit or miss.

The pizza was SO GOOD! We tried both the regular and gluten free and both had delicious crust. While it’s in a nondescript strip mall, the atmosphere is cozy and homey. Best pizza we’ve had in Lancaster – we’ll be back!

This a great local restaurant and bar. The pizza is great. The crust is a little thicker than I prefer, not by much, but the sauce is very flavorful. Good spices, not just tomato flavor. The calzones, especially the veggie, are great! Cooked so the crust is nice and crispy. And the marinara dipping sauce is a sweet with just the right amount of spice.
Beer. This place has twenty taps and, while some are dedicated to the usuals, most are beers I’ve never even heard of. And they are constantly changing them. At least a few new beers each week. If you wear a fedora and like beer, this is your place.
Liquor. Nice selection. My wife actually prefers a specific blend of the orange crush and they are happy to make it.
And to top it off, the servers are very friendly. April gives me a crisp high five whenever I come in. Sometimes a low ten. This place recently changed staff and it has been for the better. We always end up staying longer than we should just talking with them.

So we’re overhead the bar and it’s got a smooth atmosphere I guess the sign says pizzeria but they definitely serve much more than that it’s actually the highland restaurant and bar. They were having live music after I got off from working the ladies PGA tournament at the Lancaster country Club and I just wanted to have something to eat after a rough day and lots of rain and bad weather. This place did the trick shared me up and I got to enjoy some fine beers with a very wide selection. I was very impressed being from Miami myself as well. The live musician was great and I added a video in here of him and in order to support the cause that this bar is putting out. Great time would visit again and every other time after this time.

My husband and I come to Highland often, but the most recent was Saturday night when they have live music! The food is fantastic, the drinks are made well, and the music has always been good. There are tv’s mounted with sports playing, a wide selection of beers and liquor. The service is top notch. We love it!

We like trying new places. We enjoyed our cheese steak pizza – especially the crust. I enjoy a thinner crust that is a little “crispy” but not burnt. This pizza nailed it for my wife and I. Our waitress was very nice and the rest of the staff kept busy keeping the place clean and friendly.
There is lots of natural light, and it wasn’t really noisy like other restaurants. It is a bit far for us to visit real often. However, we will stop in again when we are in that part of town.
I would recommend that you give this place a try.

First time here. Although the beer selection was nice the food wasn’t great and more importantly it was very off-putting that I was asked to leave a 5 star review. Trying to give a free appetizer to get a good review is suspicious and an immediate 1 star from me. People need to know about this.

The food was mediocre, and the experience left much to be desired. The owner tried to bribe my table with free appetizers in exchange for good reviews, which felt unethical and unprofessional. Judging by the sudden influx of overly positive reviews, it seems some people accepted the offer. Instead of resorting to tactics like this, they should focus on improving the quality of their food and service. Between the poor reviews, lack of social media engagement, and the nearly empty restaurant, it’s clear why they’re struggling. Stop trying to manipulate reviews and work on actually being better.
