This is absolutely my new favorite Central Texas Cajun and creole food restaurant! Don’t be fooled by the locations small size in Union Park. This place packs a punch! The portions are large, fresh and packed full of flavor. The man that runs this location has impeccable customer service skills and was going above and beyond for us. If you want some delectable Creole flavor in your day you would be missing out to not make this spot your new favorite location! We ordered the loaded seafood bayou potato and a second one with the potato supplemented with rice. Both were amazing! And don’t miss out on their Cajun toast. Yum!!!

I like crispy catfish. If you like crispy catfish, this ain’t the place for you.
This was NOT crispy at all. Not even the fries. It was all soggy. The food was piping hot but soggy. The skin was falling off the fish. There was no kind of crisp at all. While the fish flavor was good and cooked good, it was the fact it was soggy that did it for me.
Hush puppies were good. Shrimp was the same, soggy.
Not a fan. Would not eat here again.

We were promptly seated. There were several groups seated and 2 tables full of dirty dishes that needed to be cleared. Our server came quickly to take our order and bring drinks. Our food arrived from the kitchen and looked delicious. My husband had the seafood stuffed potato and I had a shrimp po’ boy with Cajun fries. The portion sizes were huge! My husband really enjoyed his dish. I spent a bit nibbling on the awesome fries and trying to figure out how to tackle my sandwich. The sheer size made it hard to wrangle. I managed to get it picked up, but fitting it in my mouth was a chore. The bread was toasted heavily so each attempted bite sent crumbs everywhere. (I found a bunch later when i got ready for bed iykyk) I finally decided to eat the fried shrimp on their own and they were delicious! There were about 20 decent sized shrimp on my sandwich. Between the pile of fries and the large amount of shrimp, I was plenty full.
My only complaints:
1. The server didn’t come back even once until they brought the check. They never asked if we needed anything else or if the food was good. They did, however find time to browse things on their phone behind the counter.
2. The original two tables were never cleared, nor were the three more that were finished while we were there. Looking at other people’s half eaten plates isn’t appealing.
We will give this place another shot.

Our food was so good! SO GOOD!! We ordered to go the shrimp stuffed potato, boudin eggrolls, and build a bag with spicy lemon pepper. Our order was made promptly, the server was friendly, and the kitchen looked clean.
We are from out of town, so this was our first time eating Armstrong’s, but it will definitely not be our last.
I don’t leave reviews for places, but I had to because our food was that good. Highly recommend!

I asked for it proper and that’s all they serve. Boy i’m blown away by this flavor and service. Danny my man thank you sir for this delicious meal. It’s a pretty neat place with some decent places to eat and a small arcade. You got a couple of places that are like small sports bars. One side has a stage and has a large screen in the back of the stage to watch the games. Garage doors that open it up. Would def make a simple and fun date night for two people to be able to get to know each other and not worry about a large spectacle. It has about 10 food places but it could use more vendors to fill it up.

There is nothing else like PeeWee’s in town. Every dish I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating is super hot, fresh and full of flavor. Legit Louisiana Cajun food is what you’ll find! I love taking new friends to eat here and seeing their faces light up when they realize how good it is! 10/10 recommend!!
