The first time I had Carlos’s cake was in Las Vegas of all places. I believe he’s from out that direction. The six layer rainbow cake is truly amazing. The desserts are absolutely phenomenal. In fact, they’re so delicious that once you try them not only will you be hooked. But if you have a party or family gathering to go to and you’re the one in charge of bringing a dessert. It’s totally worth your time to go into the mall just to bring something from this store to that event. They have small portions available as well as full cakes and lots of other goodies. This is not located in the food court so it would be considered mid mall snacking

The pumpkin pie that I bought tonight was overbaked. I shouldn’t have wasted my money on it. I noticed the filling was pulling away from crust. I asked if there were other ones and he said no. He was not friendly and very impatient. The quality of the products has gone way down lately. Probably the last time I will buy anything from this location.

After reading all the reviews for this business I was nervous about buying a cake from here but decided to try it anyways. We were there on a Tuesday and there was not a single customer there. A woman came out from the back and helped us right away. We order one slice of the fudge rainbow cake and a full whole rainbow cake. My 3 year old son was incredibly thirsty after running around Nickelodeon Universe and they didn’t have the bottled water stocked. So the employee went in the back and got him one. Our total came to $52; including the water. Her customer service was just fine; no issues.
My mom, my son, and my husband loved the fudge rainbow cake. They all thought it was delicious, rich, and if you like fudge you will also love it. We brought the whole cake home for a birthday celebration and everyone liked it. There is lot of frosting; so it is quite rich and you do not need much of it.
Overall the customer service was just fine and the cakes were good. They are overpriced but that is what I expected for the brand and location in the mall of America. I would recommend as a splurge or special treat.

Pretty dang good cannoli in my book. A great crunch to the shell and the ricotta filling was perfectly sweet. Portion is just a bit small and pricey, but you pay for the name I suppose.. service was quick and friendly.. don’t hesitate to try!

First tried the cake in Vegas for a family member’s Bday. Thought it was the best, freshest phenomenal cake I had ever had.
Was so excited to get again. Had the order delivered to my hotel.
Ordered 2 cakes, a chocolate and confetti. Pumpkin doughnut and s’mores cannoli.
They did not have the donut or cannoli. Only realized this after ordered was delivered. No one from the bakery called to see if I wanted anything else instead. Nor, was there any note on the order saying the items were not available and I would be getting a refund for the unavailable items.
It wasn’t until I called the bakery to inquire.
Very poor customer service if you ask me. They should’ve totally called me and asked me if I wanted to replace the unavailable items with something that they had.
Next, for such a so called popular bakery could not believe the package. I was bringing the cakes home. The card board piece that the cake sits on should be extending enough over the edge of the cake, so when the cake shifts in the box while being carried, it Does NOT hit the side of the box. Usually, A larger cardboard piece that the cake would be sitting on would stop that from happening. Well, not in this case. Which I find unacceptable for the price that you pay for these cakes that they didn’t have it sitting on a cardboard piece, big enough to stop it from hitting the side of the box. Thus the frosting coming off.
Then silly me, I guess I thought I was going to be getting fresh cakes, they were not. I could tell they were pulled out of the freezer because there was still condensation on the top of one. Lastly, the taste test, I didn’t think this was any different than any other cake. If I could’ve, I would have brought them back for a refund. Total waste of money. I was so unimpressed, I cut the remaining pieces up of the cakes and gave them away.

Tried the oatmeal and raisins cookies that were buttery, chewy with a crispy edge. Perfect! Also tried the carrot cake and it was good but not great which is probably based on my personal preference of having a more rustic cake .ix with visible nuts and carrots..this cake is more refined and not chunky. The frosting was good with it being not too sweet.

Food looked good. Got a cannoli, it was decent. Server stayed playing on his phone not asking anyone how they were.
Worst part was the place was filthy. Not a single clean table and the floor made you walk on crumbs anywhere you stepped.

My fiancé & I stopped by during a visit to the mall. Big mistake! The carrot cake, pecan pie, & oatmeal raisin cookie were absolutely disgusting. After one bite, we threw everything in the trash!! My fiancé was satisfied with the cheese cake. Overall – we were highly disappointed.

I’ve gotten Buddy’s cakes delivered through “Goldbelly” and they are the best. Buddy is a master of his craft. The cakes are not overly sweet which I like, and there are so many to pick from. You won’t he disappointed. UPDATE, had the cannolis and they are a work of art. The chocolate covered peanut butter has heavenly.
