Chef Gorji has been at this location for 22 years! It’s an intimate setting with just 5 tables. The music is subtle, the ambiance is peaceful and calming and that allows you to talk peacefully at the table. If you are interested in a romantic dinner with your significant other or want to host/impress a small group of friends or business people to an exquisite and perfectly prepared 3 or 4 course meal prepared by Chef Gorji himself then this is your place to go. The wine selection is very good. The menu options are limited but well crafted to suit practically anyone. My wife had the beef tenderloin and I had the venison. Both were cooked perfectly. The salads were delicious. The deserts were, of course, amazing. In a restaurant of this stature the portion sizes are smaller, as is to be expected with this type of dining. We did not leave hungry nor stuffed as is often the case at other establishments.
Gorji’s restaurant does not accept walk-ins and he does require a credit card to hold your reservation – if you cancel late, you will be charged and in my opinion that is justified since he does not accept walk-ins and has just 5 tables.
This is a wonderful restaurant and I highly recommend it. You can also purchase some of his award winning sauces to take home with you.

Gorji’s is by far one of the best experiences I’ve had. The details from the reservation. Calling you to confirm and Chef Gorji himself greeting you personally throughout the night and when you leave is bar none the best experience. He even personally gives a small gift to my wife while we were dining for her bday. And the best part. It was not expensive. The price was worth every penny and more I feel. They don’t accept tips even though I feel that they more than deserve one.

We celebrated our anniversary at Gorji’s. It is a very intimate atmosphere for one seating per night. You can either have a 3 or 4 course meal. Wine and Drinks are available separately. We had a lovely meal served in classic chef style. There are usually 3-4 options per appetizer, salad, entree and dessert. We ordered differently so we could share all the wonderful tastes. This is an adult only experience. Parking is right outside the restaurant. It is a wonderful experience with the most friendly staff and well worth the cost. It was divine!

We went for our anniversary and it was amazing. The food was delicious. The ingredients were great quality like my melon salad had so much flavor and you could taste each of the ingredients- melon, prosciutto and arugula. They recommended a wine that went very well with our food and our waiter was funny and professional, he was there when you needed him but not crowding you. It was a great experience all around. We’ll definitely be back.

A fantastic, European-like fine-dining experience. Very intimate setting with 3-4 courses. Food and service are fantastic. We spent 3 hours there. Such a welcomed break from the hustle and bustle of normal restaurants. The chef and waiter are kind and give great service. This is the second year we have come for my birthday and definitely will be back!

This was by far the best dining experience I’ve had in awhile. Chef Gorji was truly amazing. From his exceptional customer service leading up to the time you enter the restaurant, until you sit down to eat, his great touches to detail and truly understanding the art of the customer experience really transformed my overall experience here. I was in Dallas for the weekend and eating his delectable food made my time here that much more enjoyable! As it’s a pre-fixed menu, the items change weekly so when you’re eating this delicious food, it’s a one of a kind experience. After arriving on-site, I was greeted and sat down immediately and was given a spiked apple cider to start the evening! His attention to detail while explaining the opening drink was remarkable. After reviewing the menu for this evening, I decided on escargot, a salad with pears in a pomegranate dressing and venison with grilled vegetables and gnocchi. Each plate of food was beautifully presented and all dishes cooked to perfection! All telling a story while each had the perfect flavor profile built in. That gnocchi was truly divine and super pillowy. It might have been the best gnocchi I’ve had in my life! The grilled vegetables were perfectly grilled and charred and complimented that venison well. That meat was the perfect medium rare and all components in that dish paired beautifully. Now I was stuffed, but the waiter convinced me to have dessert so I decided to try the vanilla ice cream with persimmons, blackberries, rose petals and sesame seeds. Upon first taste, it was truly refreshing on the palette. Between the crunch and sweetness in every bite, it was a perfect ending to my meal.
Between the outstanding customer service, knowledge of all wines and food being served, you are in good hands here for a stellar meal. If you’re unsure about any item, great recommendations will be suggested to satisfy your palette. Very accommodating, which will make for a memorable evening. When back in Dallas, I will definitely be stopping in again to try the new whimsical items on the menu!

I’ve been wanting to try Gorji ever since moving to Dallas about a year ago. I’m sure the takeout menu is phenomenal but I like to see plating, the chef, etc. so I never ordered. I’m glad I finally got a table tonight, I couldn’t of been more happy.
Every dish I ordered was well thought out and executed to perfection.
The only drawback is the price, which in all honestly isn’t that bad but is still very high-end.
For me this is a once a year type environment and I’d recommend the same mindset to anyone asking.

My husband and I enjoyed our dinner here last night for our date night. We got the three course meal. I started with the lasagna. It was really delicious. My salad was the Ceasar salad with kale and romaine. The texture was fantastic! My entree was the beef tenderloin. It was cooked to perfection and the gnocchi that accompanied it was really tasty. My husband and I were big fans of the creamy white sauce the gnocchi was in, can’t remember the name, but I loved it. The atmosphere was very serene. It felt therapeutic being in such an intimate and quiet setting, especially with the warm dim lighting. We enjoyed meeting the chef and our server was very friendly and made us feel welcome. I look forward to coming back here!

One of the best restaurants in Dallas. We have dined with Gorji’s on multiple occasions and he never disappoints. Recently we ordered takeaway to dine in our own home and everything was cooked exactly how we asked and packaged up perfectly. Chef Gorji even called us later in the evening to ask if everything turned out to our expectations, which is something you normally do not receive at other establishments. Either dining in the restaurant or at home our experience has always been top notch. He truly delivers an experience like no other.
