THE sub place in Asheville. Nowhere else compares for the value VS quality. They shave the meat to order, have fresh toppings, good bread and friendly employees. You can get a half or full sub, and both are fully packed with ingredients – no skimping here! Hot and cold options, pick a pre-designed sub or make your own! I went for lunch two days in a row because it was so good and they even remembered us the second day. Boylan’s soda fountain is super cool and unique, while they also have packaged teas, sodas, and beers for sale. You can make it a combo with homemade pasta salad, potato salad or a huge variety of NC potato chips. They also have some tasty looking dessert options I’m going to try next time. The atmosphere is bright and welcoming, with plenty of seating and fun pinball machines to play. 11/10 experience at this local shop, it will be the only place I get subs from now on.

So I’ve been here several times now and tried 3 different subs. And each have been so good. Each unique in flavor. But that’s just it. Each has great flavor. I don’t like getting the same thing each time so I try new. And b4 long ill have the whole menu tried out. If u like subs this place is definitely for u. I myself have enjoyed each moment I have came. And will come back for more. So stop by and enjoy. And don’t just take my word for it go go go and try yourself.

My coworker and I have come here regularly for about two years and love the subs. The staff are friendly and the quality is consistently good. I have seen them sell out before, so don’t wait until the end of the day. We like the Primo and the Jean Lafitte best.

I live past Silverball Subs and had been eyeing it forever! We finally decided to stop in and man, are we glad we did. The shop is huge and so cute, I love the quirky decor. The staff was friendly and fast, and the subs were FABULOUS! I’ll definitely be going back, and I highly recommend anyone in the Asheville area- even if you’re just visiting- try them out!

Was absolutely blown away by how absolutely delicious my sandwich was. The bread was super fresh, the ingredients were super filling and satisfying. The seating area was super clean and fun with the arcade and pinball machines. I can’t look at chain restaurant sandwiches the same after eating here. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I will definitely be coming back here again.

Delicious, fresh subs. Generous portions and reasonable prices. They have gluten free wraps and can do cold or hot, pressed sandwiches. They also make pasta salad and potato salad in house. I haven’t tasted either of these yet. There are a lot of sandwich options and you can customize them. I recommend adding the pepper relish! There is plenty of space to sit or play pinball and other arcade games. They can be a little slow, especially if they’re busy, but you can order ahead for pickup if you’re in a hurry.
