Honestly I think Pagliacci pizza tastes better and is better value, even though this is a fancier sit down restaurant. The pizzas here aren’t large and are fairly expensive. We also had clams and the burrata. Both just OK.
There is a 3% “operations fee” on the check, and on top of that the suggested tip options start at 20%.
To the owners – why not just make your menu prices 3% higher to avoid the deception?
And why start the tip options at 20% in a city that has a $21.30 minimum wage?

We really enjoyed our dinner at Bar del Corso. The drinks and appetizers were great. The bread was delicious. Pizza was ok, but the bottom of the crust was a bit too burnt for my liking. We were sitting outside and the atmosphere was great. Overall we’ll definitely come back.

Unwind with friends and coworkers after work to a quaint cozy place with good atmosphere and good food. Fungi pizza was ok, but the mussels and clams are a must from this place. Server was friendly and conversational. Since its close to work, great place to unwind. They also have great selection of drinks and cocktails. Parking can be challenging but overall, the experience is worth the while.

Visited for dinner and ordered their house-made meatballs, grilled octopus, Suppli al Telefono, Salame Piccante pizza and a rhubarb spritzer. Food and drinks were awesome and the service was great. Looking forward to visiting again.

Lively neighborhood Italian restaurant with plenty of great specials. The service is friendly, the dishes are a good size and easy to share. Presentation is no-frills, but the flavors make up for it with great quality ingredients that are well paired. Definitely worth a stop.

We had a crappy experience yesterday. It was supposed to be our celebration dinner and using our 11-month old $100 gift certificate. Because the gift certificate had been ordered by phone by my sister, the actual certificate was supposed to be at the restaurant. But the waitress couldn’t find it. (OK – mistakes happen.). But she was overall unfriendly and without grace in explaining and re-explaining her predicament- that there was no record of a gift certificate. Eventually I asked her to stop talking about her gift certificate problem and that we would pay for dinner- we wanted to have a nice, stress-free dinner.
We arrived at 6:40. The salad was great. The fungi pizza was burnt. We gave up on our third dish- the small plate of squash, as it hadn’t arrived by 8:15. The waitress finally returned to our table at 8:15 and asked if the side of squash had ever arrived. Increasingly annoyed, I said “No. You’re our waitress. Shouldn’t you know if we had received it?” We replied that we didn’t want the squash dish anymore and please take it off the bill. She then asked if we wanted dessert and proceeded to fast-speak the 4 options. We couldn’t decipher any of it. She seemed annoyed and stressed to hurriedly explain the 4 desserts. We declined dessert. When our bill arrived, she lengthily explained, again without grace, the ensuing and possibly complicated process of the owner who would need to search old records l, possibly without success, for record of a gift certificate.
All in all, it was a stressful and unsatisfactory culinary experience, paid by us. The owner called the next day to say that it was their fault and in fact they had the gift certificate in the restaurant. He could reissue it to my sister. We said “No thanks. Please just reimburse my sister the $100.” We are done with Bar del Corso.”

This restaurant offers a pleasant dining experience with a simple yet charming ambiance. The spacious layout keeps the noise level down, and the service is speedy and welcoming. They offer outside menu options on a board. Like cod fritters, different cocktails. The cod fritters were a standout, reminiscent of authentic Portuguese ones. If you are Brazilian or Portuguese, you will know what I’m talking about, hands down the cod fritters were the best ones I’ve ever had!!! It’s just delicious and perfectly done. They should add this to the menu. While the cocktails were just okay, the pizza dough was delicious and perfectly sized for sharing between two or three people. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience I would come back to check more pizza flavors.

Great atmosphere in the back patio- felt like being invited to someone’s backyard. Salad was light and fresh, meatballs are quite Smokey from the pancetta but tasty if that’s you’re thing with a nice sauce. Pizza looks AMAZING but just tastes good, which was a bit of a let down. Maybe more sauce needed? Relaxed atmosphere and in a nice neighbourhood.

Incredibly delicious high quality pizza and food ruined by one unforgivable detail: Those horribly chintzy wine glasses they’ve always insisted on using. These small, low, flat-bottomed PsOS you can buy by the gross at the Container Store have no place on the table next to such divine pie. These glasses suck the soul out of the whole enterprise.
First, no matter how accurately the pour was metered, it always looks like a short pour. Bring up your doubts with the server, and they will absolutely shame you for doubting the volumetric fidelity.
And the experience of drinking from such an uncivilized trough is worse still. Unlike with a proper wine glass, you can’t delicately hold the stem or base, raise it up to the light and tilting , contemplating the colors and tannins and legs. Nor can you comfortably wrap your hand under the bowl and swirl, you can’t get your nose in it. You can’t properly experience the wine how it’s supposed to be experienced. Which ultimately detracts from experiencing the pizza.

Such a great find! The food was all on point, from the salad to the pizza. Highly recommend the mussels, and the panna cotta might be the best I’ve ever had. Already planning my next visit
