Small Winery & Italian Bistro with great selection & big flavors! This is a gem! If you’re lucky enough to visit Anamosa (as a native) I would highly reccomend dinning here! You can taste all if their wines for free in the tasting room & get a great meal in the dinning room or on the patio! On my last visit I enjoyed a fresh Cesar salad, savory Spinache Artichoke dip and flavorful Garlic Chicken Artichoke pizza (my favorite thing on their menu, pictured below with original crust). With their large selection of wines they can please any pallet! They also have beer for those in your group who aren’t wine drinkers. I don’t feel I can adequately express in this review how much I love this restaurant! Try it and see for yourself!!

We agree with other reviews that food is fantastic. So good that we made a reservation for 6pm and drove an hour in anticipation. Upon arrival we informed that our table was given to someone else. The hostess did offer to sell us wine for an hour and a half until our table was once again ready. Not overly impressed and motivation to find a new anniversary dinner place.

Great wine, smooth and unlike what I usually drink. Try the pomegranate wine. Pleasant staff. Great place for a date night, dinner with friends, or dining alone. I was visiting from out of state and will return when I am in Iowa again this spring!

French onion soup was very good. The flatiron steak had excellent flavor and sauce. The accompanying arugula salad was small, but excellent. Cheesecake dessert was excellent. Big town fine dining at small town prices. Wine was good, and inexpensive. Bring conversation, as it is European style, with plenty of time between courses.

The best restaurant in Anamosa. Warm and inviting atmosphere. Has a tasting room and two charming dining rooms. Staff is very courteous and obliging. The food is incredible, and usually has a suggested wine pairing. Great for the experienced and novice tasters alike. Highly recommended.

My fiance and I happened upon this wonderful place while roadtripping from Kansas to Wisconsin. What a fabulous surprise! Excellent wine, incredible food, and a lovely atmosphere. It absolutely made our trip! Definitely worth the extended stop.

Food not as good as I had hoped. Wine was good, the dessert was good. Waiter did not bring the cheese we requested and he did not divide the check as requested. The dinning room was full, a good thing, but very hard to hear conversation at our table or to hear our waiter.

Love the pomegranate wine! We’ve always enjoyed our meals here as well. The outdoor patio is wonderful in the summer. A great place to have in Anamosa.

We attended a wedding rehearsal dinner with about 35 people. Even though there was another large party at the same text, they did a great job with both the service, food and the wine.
