I’ve eaten BBQ all over Tennessee, and I have my favorite haunts, but when we stumbled on this little gem I was blown away!!! I can honestly say, without hesitation, this was the best BBQ I’ve ever had. The sauces are homemade and unbelievable. The ribs fell off the bone, the brisket you could cut with a fork and had so much flavour. The chicken was moist and flavourful, and normally I’d steer clear of chicken in a BBQ joint because it’s usually dry and bland. The Mac and cheese was buttery, creamy and oooooh so cheesy. My wife never gives anything over a 7/10, she knows what she likes, but she popped this one at a solid 9.5/10…and she doesn’t care for BBQ. Check out her review on instagram @rozreviews for details. We flew down with checked carry on baggage only, we are flying home with one checked bag because I wasn’t leaving this place without a pint of their BBQ sauce.

Yum! And the services was great! I think Even the owner came to make sure we had been helped. Nice hometown place with good food. If you’re a trucker its right next to a Pilot but they even have parking in the rear for you. Come get it!

My 4th visit, this time I actually planned on eating desert which was the peach cobbler with ice cream. Better than what mom made. Friday called for catfish and they had a special going today. Great potato salad to go along. Enjoyed it and will be back.

It was an easy exit off the I-40, since we were headed to the local KOA campground for the night. We called in our order and the woman who answered the phone sounded busy but she was helpful and friendly. We placed our order to pickup, and it was ready on time and delicious.

Where to start , the BBQ aroma will attract you first, then the sweetness of the ladies at the front will warm your heart, the fall of the bone delicious ribs, decadent Mac & cheese, sweet BBQ baked beans, fried green tomatoes, and rolls will warm your belly and their sweet tea will refresh your body. This place is a MUST. Truckers just park at the the Pilot and forget the golden arches and the red hat, just walk to the BEST BBQ you will ever find, make sure to get some more to go because there will be no leftovers from just a plate!!! Excellent down home BBQ! Small family owned and ran business. We got the family pack pulled pork, potato salad, homemade macaroni and cheese, with a side of baked beans, and this meal did not disappoint! The pulled pork was savory and moist before ever adding any of the homemade BBQ sauce, potato salad was excellent and seasoned perfectly, the macaroni and cheese, OMG! Probably the best I have ever had! The baked beans were delicious! The staff were very welcoming and oozed southern hospitality! The owner of the establishment came out and introduced himself, and to our delight, brought out some of the finest brisket to ever Grace my lips! Of course no down home southern BBQ would be complete without a glass of sweet tea, after all, it’s the house wine of the south! DO NOT MISS THIS ONE! Bring CASH, credit/debit cards are not accepted.

Some of the worst BBQ I’ve ever had, and it took me months and multiple visits just to try it due to them not keeping their own very limited hours. 1st the good, service was pleasant and prompt despite clearly being understaffed. The BBQ sauces tasty and unique, as was the sausage. The brisket and pork were dry, lacked anything resembling seasoning / a rub, and the unforgivable sin… NO SMOKE RING. Place reeks of pit smoke, can’t find it on the meat though. The meat was utter trash and I don’t say that lightly. The sides were just okay with the Mac being a little above average. I genuinely feel swindled for all the efforts I went to just to try this place and what I was charged.
