Husband stopped for lunch at the Village Trestle. I was a bit weary based on the back entrance. It had an odd room divider and a counter with food and cups just gathering. After getting into the actual dining and bar area, it was much better. A place for locals with a full bar on a Sunday afternoon.
Waitress was quick and attentive. Drinks were served promptly.
Food was nothing extravagant but good comfort food. I was pleasantly surprised. Place was much more comfortable than i had first thought and the atmosphere helped with that. Definitely a down to earth type place where locals regularly dine. I noticed many apps going out. Drinks & Apps were the draw here. We will return.

Am a longtime resident, this is a terrific local place! Well established, delicious food, and supportive of community events… lively spot! Attended a great fund raiser today, and my husband had the chili…. said it was the “best ever” , so passing along & I’ll try next time! Food is always good.. eat in or take out. Staff is friendly & attentive… fun stop if you live locally or are passing through & looking for dining place.

First time, definitely not the last! Snuck a chance to stop in at lunch on a Saturday. Family run, greeted by a wonderful young man who kindly offered us a variety of seating options. Chose a Trestle IPA and was not disappointed! The Rueben is chose was absolutely top 5 I’ve ever had! Unique house fries that I’ve never had anywhere else were delicious. My favorite loved her turkey club too, though would’ve been perfect for her if it was fresh carved turkey. Pumped to be spending my summers 10 minutes up the road headed forward, we will be back!!!

New to the area and trying out local restaurants stopped into the trestle and Rite off the bat. The waitress was very rude. Not a very good welcoming for someone new trying out their restaurant. The food was terrible asked for chicken tenders and they gave me a half of chicken breast that was fried in a pan my cocktail drink taste tastes like she put the wrong liquor in it will never return to this place again I’ve paid less and much higher class. Restaurants was not worth the money or the attitude all this place is a local bar joint. That’s it never again.
