The food was overall not good. Felt like I was catfished with the pictures on their website. The fried calamari was soggy even if it was cooked more I don’t think it would have been good and the marinara sauce was ice cold. The price of the chicken cutlet gnocchi with burrata is insane considering the tiny chicken cutlet which was under the burrata. The burrata was cold would have been way better if it was warm/melted. The gnocchi weren’t bad but why wasn’t the jarred sauce covering all the pasta? There was also pasta water in the plate so it was just very off putting. The pizza looks better in the photo than it actually tasted, no flavor really. Supper disappointed. Overpriced and not good.

We stopped by this place today with our family to grab some pizza, and the experience was absolutely terrible.

Our server brought us dirty plates with visible food residue still on them. When we pointed it out, she took the plates away, wiped them off, and brought back the exact same plates. Not only is that completely unacceptable, but she didn’t even apologize. This is a serious sanitation issue and shows a total lack of professionalism.

I have never experienced service this bad anywhere in the world. It was shocking.

To make matters worse, the pizza was burnt.

Overall, this was a very disappointing and frustrating visit. I do not recommend this place to anyone, and we will definitely not be coming back.

My family and I had dinner last night at Vincenzo’s Cucina, and it was absolutely amazing!
Vincenzo himself was there, and he is truly a wonderful person to meet and dine with. You can immediately tell how much heart and soul he pours into his very cozy restaurant—his personality and passion shine through in every detail.
The food was outstanding and clearly made with love. Everything is homemade, including the pizza crust, and you can taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite.
Thank you so much to Vincenzo and the entire staff for such a fantastic experience. We are certain this will become a weekly stop for our family of seven!

HOW INCREDIBLE IS THIS RESTAURANT….. please read to the end….

We were headed to a restaurant in St Augustine for date night but read about Vincenzo’s Cucina on NextDoor and as a YUGE fan of authentic Italian cuisine (that is food for those of you that don’t know that word), my wife and I decided to give Vincenzo’s a try.

We called ahead just in case and got an 8:30 reservation on a Friday evening. Upon arrival, there was one dining table available with all the rest occupied by couples and families. The environment is authentic and welcoming.

Our server, Allison, came over immediately to take our drink orders and was very warm and friendly. While waiting for our appetizer (Bougie Balls) I saw the owner Vincenzo making the rounds, talking to patrons and asking if there was anything that he could improve.

While waiting for our drinks and appetizer, we reviewed the diverse menu and I suggested we might order a pizza to go for the next day. My wife wisely suggested we wait to see if we would have left overs.

Our drinks were delivered quickly and Vincenzo made his way over to speak to us. We asked about the upcoming cooking class at the restaurant and he excitedly explained it to us. From his enthusiasm, it is obvious that he loves what he does and that he is dedicated to making a visit to his restaurant a memorable event.

My wife ordered the Chicken Pesto dinner with house salad (blue cheese dressing). I ordered Chicken Alfredo Louie with Caesar Salad.

Both salads were incredibly fresh, well proportioned and the dressing were home-made delicious creations.

After the first bite of our entrees, my wife and I just looked at each other and nodded with that approving grunt of approval that you make when you don’t want to do anything that might disrupt the wave of incredibly tasty goodness.

Our dinner was somewhat devoid of conversation as we both focused on the excellent Italian meals before us. The servings were extremely generous and soon I had to push my plate away as I was completely full (and should have stopped several forks sooner).

At the end of meal, needless to say, we did not need to order any food for the next day as both of us had over half of our meals left to take home.

This will be our new date night destination and we look forward to trying all of the other menu offerings…. likely equally as delicious!!!

And those of you that deem otherwise, have a better day.

First timers! From the moment we walked in, we knew it was our kind of place! Vincenzo greeted us warmly with a handshake and genuine appreciation. Mallory was our most excellent server/bartender. We ordered drinks (beer and Aperol spritz), house salads and large pizza. Homemade dressing was phenomenal. Salads were loaded and pizza was perfectly crisp thin crust. Service was excellent: drinks good. Salads cold and fresh. We will definitely be back! Thanks Mallory!

Absolutely loved this place! I had the best pizza and pasta I’ve ever tasted—so fresh and full of flavor. The service was outstanding, everyone was super friendly and attentive. What really impressed me was how clean and well-organized everything was, even though it has a fun, lively sports bar vibe. A perfect mix of great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back!

Food was below acceptable for Italian, pasta quality was sub-par, hopefully it was cheap store bought, couldn’t be home made.
Was there for 21/2 hours and didn’t even ask or have dessert. Tables were close and it was noisy.
Perhaps it’s a better pizza place, there seemed quite a few who stuck with pizza.
Owner spent his time walking around welcoming patrons, perhaps he should have tried helping on the kitchen. Severs were overwhelmed needed more of them or better trained.
They can be better: cut down on menu choices and focus on better ingredients and get help in the kitchen and more servers. Wine was acceptable choices were ok.

Our second time here
Honestly this time was way better than the first time .
Our first time we were not impressed at all .
I’m from Italian family and I grow up eating real Italian food so its really hard for me to be okay with store bought tomato sauce or store bought meatballs .
Service was excellent
The owner himself is super cool dude
But the food is semi Italian and it feels like you are on a sport bar not a family restaurant.
Just something about Italian food and sports bar that doesn’t go together. Also the chef could use a bit more of finesse when preparing the plates our eyes also eat , you first need to love what you looking at the give it a try . Presentation is key
The place is super cozy location is really good too

May 2024… Second pizza & my take is this: anyone can make a pizza. Amateurs make & then sell a pizza where 1/3 is bubbled up & has no sauce or toppings on the bubbled part.
July 2024… This weekend: my review below is not a bad review. I liked most everything. The pizza at Renna’s is better – – simple NY style. Two weeks ago:Nice place with some huge TVs. Pizza was good but not great. Good service friendly staff.
