I visited this restaurant yesterday with my family and had really bad experience. I am adding this review mainly because of the unpleasant and horrible shouting from another customer (who was not dining) after my brief conversation with the owner regarding the food served and lack of etiquette from the owner after that.
We ordered a mutton biriyani family pack(family size biriyani, chicken 65, raita and mirchi ka salan), 2 naan, kadai chicken.,
Biriyani and chicken 65 wasn’t looking fresh, on top of that chicken 65 looked different inside(see pic/video attached) and biriyani had dominating lemon flavor, so we asked the owner if it was prepared fresh and few questions about the taste and texture., he mentioned that it’s their style and can’t do anything about it and can’t refund(which i was totally fine with since it wasn’t my intention, i was there only to have a good food and time,) and that was all the conversation between myself and the owner., Owner also agreed that the food was prepared in the morning.
Later there was another customer, only other customer in the restaurant who was not even dining and was there to pick up an order and chatting with the owner’s mother(i am assuming), she started a conversation with me casually asking about where i am from and how long i have been in Chicago area, then started she started shouting and defending the restaurant and food, and insisted that i shouldn’t have asked about the food directly and kept saying that she always liked the food there. she kept shouting for more than 5 mins, my 1year old son started crying and she didn’t even consider lowering the voice,, she had no business to interfere, especially to shout at us and spoil our mood even more., worst part is that the restaurant owner didn’t make any effort to stop her from shouting at all, and when he realized that i would add a bad review, he said “karma will get you” when i was leaving after paying my bill in full.
Overall the owner didn’t handle the situation well and doesn’t like a negative review. I wouldn’t recommend my friends to this restaurant after this bad experience.

Food was amazing, we got chicken 65, fried mutton and naan as an appetizer first, then moved on to mutton dum biryani. Finished off the meal with a cup of hot chai. It was all really tasty. Will be going back again InshaAllah.
My only critique was the ambience which the owner explained that he is still working on it, it’s just taking a hot minute to get everything together.
The food was fresh tasting and delicious. Very authentic Hyderabadi Deccan taste.I highly recommend it.

Having Indian tastes for a long time now. Both sambar chicken and boneless pulav I’ve had. It complemented every Indian species and was really lovely. It is definitely worth the money, therefore I would advise everyone to give it a shot. When interacting with consumers, the management and employees are very kind and polite. My best wishes are with them for further success in serving consumers the highest caliber meals.

Ordered idly, poori with chicken curry, Chicken pakodi, Chicken pulav and Pappucharu mutton rice all these items were really good. I’d highly recommend Pappucharu mutton rice.

Awesome food! Chicken and mutton dum briyani is so flavorful and delicious. Chicken kebab was bit spicy but still tasty the chicken 65 was so good too. Overall, the food was good!

I was looking for some last minute homestyle cooked ground beef, aka keema, for dinner and Angaara came through for me tonight. They didn’t have it on their menu as it’s a special order item but I received a quarter sized tray full of some deliciously flavorful meat!! I have yet to try the other items on their menu and the owners, especially Aunty, was very friendly and offered me a cup of yummy cardamom-ginger chai. I will be back to try the authentic Hyderabadi biryani. oh fyi, I was told their menu will be updating in the next week or so and they will also have specials coming up during Ramadan as well.

Angaara Miyapur is a new family owned restaurant here in naperville/aurora and is surely living up to the expectations of its name. I have only tried a few dishes here so far, of which i became a big fan of Maragh. I would say it cant get any better thsn this and tastes exactly like hyderabadi maragh. I am yet to try the nahari paya available on the weekends but looking forward to it.
Also, the chai is really good here.

The dish was overly greasy, with a heavy, unappetizing coating that masked any flavor and the quantity provided is very less.
