Food truck in the same parking lot as El Point. Entrance to the parking lot is on Shawnee Dr near Top King. At least for now Google has it wrong. The carne asada I ate is as good as any I’ve had and the chicken is the best I’ve ever had at a Mexican or Latin American place. Large, 3/4″ chunks super moist and flavorful. The people are as nice as can be. I’m glad I found this gem. I tried to show the parking lot entrance in the videos and some of the photos. The atmosphere is 2 food trucks in a parking lot with several picnic tables and music. It feels like a family party. It’s 3/4s full at 9:30 and still open after 10 on a Saturday night with many people hanging out. El Point is a more expensive Venezuelan food truck. They complement each other well. If you’re near the Ruta 635 truck the music is at a good background level. On the weekends, when there are a lot of people milling around they may be open as late as midnight. Ignore the first two videos. I can’t find a way to delete them.

Don’t let Google Maps fool you — the entrance to this spot is off Shawnee Dr near Top King, in the same lot as El Point. Once you pull in, you’ll find two food trucks, some picnic tables, and music that sets the perfect mood. It honestly feels more like a friendly neighborhood gathering than a parking lot.
The carne asada was top-notch — tender, juicy, and full of smoky flavor. But the chicken absolutely blew me away — thick, juicy chunks cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. Easily some of the best I’ve had anywhere.
The people working here couldn’t be nicer. Everyone seemed relaxed and happy, just enjoying good food and good company. When I stopped by around 9:30 PM on a Saturday, the place was still lively and going strong past 10 PM — I’ve heard they sometimes stay open till midnight on weekends.
If you want amazing food without the fancy setup, this place delivers. Ruta 635 and El Point balance each other out — one with incredible Mexican-style dishes, the other offering Venezuelan flavors. Together, they make this little corner a food truck hotspot worth checking out.

I was there this past weekend and was very disappointed! I ordered a sope and a asada taco! It was not as good as I imagined. They started out with some amazing food and now they suck. My taco didn’t have enough onions and cilantro, my sope had beans and asada and thats it! What happened to the love?

Excellent service and good food! Served with a wonderful spicy Verde sauce. Habanero sauce was too spicy for me lol. The asada was very tender!
