Omg this place had such bad customer service. The lady that showed us to our table no smile not friendly at all. We had to wait a long time for our food I will never be back. The only plus was the food was good just bad service.

I recently had my birthday dinner here. 3 people, nothing too big. First off it took us a very long time to be seated. The workers would peer at us but took extremely long to seat us. Then the server brought me the wrong soup which I really didn’t mind as much but after that she messed up my order again and apparently just flat out forgot to bring my brothers dish.To top it off it was not even busy, there were hardly any customers. The sushi was not good the ginger was horrible, I had to walk over to the sushi bar to grab my own dipping plates. The waitress was not attentive. My brother and dad liked their hibachi dinner and the sake was nice, for that reason I give 2 stars instead of 1.

Food is great. Service is horrible. We waited at least twenty minutes before our drink order was taken. One waitress rudely told me to scoot over a seat in the hibachi. I had to take a minute to take in how rude she was because i was so shocked. The waitresses sit behind the bar gossiping the whole time not concerned at all about the customers. Ive read the reviews and it this seems to be an ongoing thing. Why are they not doing anything about this? I will definitely not be returning here. One star for the food.

I would say my experience was good, when I first entered no one greated me. There were 3 or 4 young ladies at a register not doing a thing, so I directed myself to my table where my party was sitting. Our waitress was nice and frequently came back to our table to check up on us, her name was Nicole I think. I did notice that other hibachi tables were left dirty with plates of food on them, about 3 tables. Not sure why that was, but it made the area look dirty and unattended. Food was good, our chef Luis was awesome and provided a good atmosphere. I was satisfied when my first experience but I would definitely change the front and maybe put someone in the front to great clients as they walk in.

Absolutely horrible! We ordered 2 kitchen dinners with fried rice, 1 order of salmon sushi and 1 order of yellow tail sushi. Long story short, we never got the sushi (and literally got a salmon and a yellow tail instead), got over charged for everything and after it was all said and done was $65… Our waitress took a long time to check up on us and at the end, I had to go FIND SOMEONE and ask them for my check… This is not the first time something like this has happened at this place, but it will for sure be the last. All in all, I would advise staying away from this establishment.

The staff and food were excellent!

But I was very disappointed in the Owner of the place. I do not feel you should reprimand your employees in front of customers as she did the whole entire time my husband and I were in there. She also was bossing customers around and telling them where to sit even though there would be no one else sitting at the table with them. She will lose customers if she does not change her ways and she will keep losing great employees. Our waitress and chef were amazing and kept checking on us.

NOTE TO THE OWNER: You need to treat your employees with more respect and not reprimand them in front of customers. I did not like this and if I ever come back in there to eat, I will say something to your face because it was not called for. You are disrespectful and I am really surprised you have any employees at all left.

My sister and I went to Iron Chefs for Valentines day and of course they were busy which was expected. When we first walked in there was a crowd of jumbled people standing “waiting to be seated”. Every once in a while a girl would come over and tell us something about the tables, I couldn’t hear her too well. She wasn’t taking down anyones names, I felt like it could have been organized better. She should have asked who wanted hibachi, and who wanted just sushi to plan accordingly. While we were standing there, a man and his family was walking out with food to-go and said out loud “I wouldn’t waste your money folks, the service is terrible!”. That made my sister and I a little nervous but we stayed to find out for ourselves. The girl at the front finally said there was an open table in the sushi part and my sister and I sat down after about a 15 min wait. The atmosphere could be a little better with dimmer lights and music. There were TV’s hanging up with no sound, music would have been good.

The waitresses are all very young, they were wearing pink shirts and black yoga pants, some had pink bows. I didn’t feel they were dressed appropriate. It looked cute for a casual every day outfit, but not what I would like to see my waitress wearing in my opinion. Our waitress was nice and attentive, she came and checked on us throughout the meal. We ordered the heart attack and crab rangoon appetizers, and 4 different sushi rolls. The heart attack was good, it has a jalapeno in it, not too hot, the sauces they put on top of it was yummy. The crab rangoon had bacon in it, not necessary in my opinion, they should make it without it. The sushi rolls were all delicious. My sister and I spent about $30 each including tip.

Overall I would go back again. I would like to try the hibachi. I don’t fault them for the wait because it was as crowded as expected for valentines day. Little changes like the waitresses attire and adding music, maybe dimmer lights would add to the overall atmosphere and make it more enjoyable.

The food and chefs here are amazing! I like to go here for special occasions. I have always had great experience with the evening staff. I went last Sunday afternoon to celebrate getting engaged and had the worst experience ever that will keep me from ever going back. We had to wait a while to be seated by Becky who was dressed in a hoodie and sweat pants. (I consider this restaurant one for special occasions so this was disappointing.) Becky was our waitress and should be fired immediately! We waited a long time before she took our orders. She brought us our drinks but never brought our soup and salad. Our chef came out and was wonderful! When he heard us talking about never getting our soup and salad he saw Becky and told her and she said ok, but never came back by. I gave the chef a cash tip before he left because at this point I was not happy with Becky’s service. Our drinks sat empty the whole meal. Another person from the table we were at walked up to the counter to ask for someone to give us drink refills and soup and salad. Finally another lady came to the table with drink refills for us. She said she was new to the restaurant. We let her know that we never got our soup and salad and she quickly brought them out for us even though we were all done eating at this point. Sad to say, one of the salads had a hair in it, but we did not bother at this point. She had the owner come to our table because of our experience. The owner listened to us and said that Becky wasn’t feeling well. A man from the party sitting at our table said “Becky wasn’t feeling well the last time we were here when she gave us poor service.” The owner seemed to know that service was an issue at his restaurant. He gave us a 20% discount, however we just want Becky to either be retrained or fired. We then asked our new server for our checks. She promptly got them to us but then we waited another 20 minutes for someone to pick them up. No one came by and the new server was noticeably busy so we went up to the counter and she helped us there. This dining experience took over two hours! Needless to say, my engagement celebration dinner was not a happy one. To the owner: We love your food and your chefs, please just work on your service!

Service is horrible. Was there and hour and never had my beverage refilled. Food was horrible. Ordered sushi and they first brought a salad that was swimming in this salty dressing, there were about 2-3 inches left sitting in the bowl after I fished the lettuce out. Then the sushi came, which they brought out one at a time and wouldn’t bring another until the first was finished. I like to be able to pick and choose as I eat. First roll was a basic spicy tuna, texture was disgusting, almost as if the tuna had been pureed first. Very little flavor and almost no spice. Second was a cute roll which was also very bland and the cucumber was kind of rubbery, not very crisp at all. Last was a Maverick Roll which I actually enjoyed, but even still felt it was prepared poorly. Cost was adequate for sushi, but for the quality it was horrible. Cost about $35 dollars, and I will not be returning. If in the area Kaze is about 30 seconds up the road and is better in every single aspect.

We went there at 5:00, so the place was empty. We order various sushi dishes, which were ok, not great. Toward the end of the meal, I noticed the manager, a fairly young female staring at us. When the waitress brought the check, I looked at it, and it had about $25 worth of items I didn’t order. The as I was looking at it, the manager came over, took the check and gave us another check. She said sorry, that was the wrong check. The problem is, it had everything I ordered plus a bunch of stuff. She already had the real check in her hand. She was hoping I wouldn’t catch the scam. She was literally trying to scam us. Do yourself a favor and go to Kaze. It’s 3 restaurants down, and is very good.
