A long time staple of the Southside, Club 2000. A great place for a drink or something to eat. Definitely one of the best place for breakfast around. Club 2000 is in my Top 5 Best places for Breakfast in the Des Moines area. Breakfast is simple, good price, and delicious. Many breakfast options for a reasonable price. Also they decorate very extensively for just not One Holiday, but for almost all holidays and events !! Halloween, Christmas, New Years, and My favorite St Patrick’s Day !! Club 2000 always goes above and beyond for holiday decor !

The staff were super friendly and the food there… the food was delicious. The chicken strip basket was my favorite. The seasoning of the fries were the best. Best service of Club 2000 in Des Moines.

This place has good bar food. It is a little on the greasy side but the flavors are really good. They don’t have an extensive menu but the items they have are executed well. The atmosphere is that of a typical bar with a few tables scattered around. The wait staff is amazing but with only one cook and a single flat top it will take some time for your food to make it to the table especially if there are other customers. I ordered the Darrell sandwich, which they are known for, and my wife ordered the turkey bacon melt sandwich, both pics are attached. Overall our experience was enjoyable and wouldn’t mind going back for another visit.

Lol this place makes me laugh. Their menu has a funny tag: “This is not a five star restaurant, it’s a bar”. So I tested the theory with my breakfastand asked for cloth table service. The banter.. Still laughing. She now calls me five star.

While you may not be a michelin, you have the best breakfast in town bar none. I should know I’ve surely been to all of them. You make me feel welcome and laugh and it’s clean and yes it’s a very old bar but that just brings me back too my home town. Homemade sausage, eggs over easy… Why can no one else get this. Perfect hash browns… why can no one else get THIS… The up charge sourdough tastes homemade. Mmmm. Wish I was there today.
Great place limited hours but worth it!
Limited menu (it’s a bar) so be sure they have what you want.
