Got takeout for dinner after friends said this is their favorite local Chinese food. I got the pepper chicken and beef lo mein, my husband got the general tso’s and we split the crab rangoons. Everything was fantastic. Would probably order the General Tso’s spicy next time. Rangoons were well stuffed and on the sweet side, which I like. This is going to be our new go-to for takeout!

I’ve been here a few times and I like it. I tried the St Paul sandwich because it’s a St Louis thing and I would get that again, but the Singapore noodles are my favorite so far. It has a spicy curry flavor and I like the combination of proteins in it.

I came here to compare eating at Old St Louis chop Sewy right across Chippewa. Because Old St Louis chop Sewy only accepts cash, and New China takes debit/credit cards. The foods a little cheaper at New China, but also not as good. But not by much. Another pro besides them taking debit cards is they let you get as many sauce packets that you want. I would recommend eating here and I’ll for sure be back.

Service was good, place was clean. I ordered a shrimp St. Paul and a large order of plain fried rice with extra eggs and onions. I am 35 years old and have never left a review or not finished my Chinese food in its entirety. This rice however was very bad. Almost mushy and had a taste I never tasted before in rice.

Came in there on a late night about 10 minutes till closing time and was able to order so I appreciated that they where willing to take our order but unfortunately the portion we received was not even close to 22 dollars. Me and my wife had ordered 2 combo specials the hot braised chicken wing and the hot wing combo. Wings tasted old and chewy and the rice had a weird texture and was unappealing. Good service but will not be back for the food ever.

I just moved nearby and was looking for a new Chinese food spot. St. Louis is hit and miss on Chinese food, with mostly a lot of misses. I was super happy that the food was terrific at New China! I had the Kung Pao chicken lunch special. Came with fried rice and an egg roll. It was the best I’ve had in the area. The crab rangoon and fried dumplings were on point. 10/10, I’ll be back!

Always fresh, always delish!!! We get general chicken and shrimp fried rice and we love it every time. Quite often it takes a little longer because they make it fresh, patience pays off

Next chinese takeout in our area. Staff is friendly food always tastes fresh and hot. It’s always ready when we get there unless they are busy, which only adds a small wait (worth it everytime). We frequent this place far too often.
