I wanted to try BBQ and wound up ordering the nachos. This is a meal for at least three (TEXAS SIZE). I could only eat 1/3 of it and I was stuffed. With it having the pulled pork, brisket and sausage, you get a variety of meats. Don’t go try and eating it by yourself, unless your into getting sick or desiring a heart attack . It was very good though. Now my wife and I have a lunch we can share!

My husband and I are visiting from California. Thought this would be a nice establishment to grab a bite to eat while we were here but we were sadly mistaken. First I’d like to point out that the portion on our plates compared to other diners was vastly different. Second the food was sub par at best. To top it all off, not even 30 minutes after dining my husband is balled up on the floor because his stomach hurts so bad! He’s been on the commode for hours! HOURS I tell you ! Apparently he’s not the only one who’s had gastric issues after dining here . Wish we would’ve read the reviews first !

We recently tried The Pit and ordered a variety of items: the 2-meat plate with brisket and sausage (with yams and mac & cheese), brisket sliders, a brisket sandwich, and a brisket baked potato (had a 9.99 special for baked potato and for the sliders.) Overall, everything was okay—solid portion sizes for the price and nothing bad, just not particularly memorable.
The brisket and sausage were tender, but I personally wished for more of a pronounced smoked flavor. Given that the restaurant is inside the casino, I understand that may be a limitation, so it’s hard to fault them too much for that. The mac & cheese, however, exceeded my expectations—definitely the standout of the meal.
Price point felt like a 5/10 for what you get. This was likely our first and last visit, though I’ll admit the Dino Rib still has me curious enough that I might come back just to give that a try.

The Pitt is awesome! I always look forward to eating here when I come to Choctaw! The bbq nachos are my favorite! They are huge! So if you order these, they are big enough to share with your spouse. Or friend. The sausage on the nachos is so tasty! As well as the brisket! The jalapeños are not spicy, they are pickled! If you are looking for some bbq while at Choctaw! This is the spot! Service is always good! Staff is super friendly! They even gave us a free soda this evening!

The Pit is a decent BBQ food station in the food hall at Choctaw Casino in Durant, OK. Pretty good brisket (I had a sandwich and potato salad). In a food court environment, it was a little pricey, and the ambiance was about what you would expect from a spot between the casino and kids arcade.

I’ve had better BBQ at gas stations, brisket was cut with the grain and tough as leather, smoked turkey breast was dry and hard, bread stale and hard.
Had a few bites and so disappointed that I ask myself….. did I really just pay $25 for this?!?!?
Threw what’s left in the trash and headed back to the bar for wings…. Seriously the worst BBQ I’ve ever had; they should be ashamed!
So watching the game $25 in horrible BBQ that was thrown in trash and ordered wings at the bar 10min later.
Hopefully the wings will get the taste of the “BBQ” and wallpaper paste Mac and cheese out of my mouth!

Wow!!! who knew you could get delicious BBQ inside of a casino. My goodness the brisket was moist and tender, the sausage delectable. I could not believe how well seasoned the sides were. The potato salad was my fav. We definitely will be returning.

Was severely overwhelmed when my husband and I ordered the nachos and the cheese wasn’t even warm. Not to mention it took about 30 minutes to get our plate because there was only one person working. The plates are huge so that was a plus and is why I gave more stars than I would have liked to.

The Dino beef rib is only $18 available Friday, Saturday and Sundays only. However the rib I got was half of it was too dry and hard. The other half was moist and tender but it later smoked flavor and taste.
