The mussels are fairly fresh but I shouldn’t ask for the blue cheese option as it’s a bit salty for me. Service is very friendly and fast. Good view in front of the canal.

I came here two weekends in a row for this heavenly goat chesse sandwich. But other dishes are delicious and nicely presented too.
The relaxing and cozy atmosphere, great attention to details and hospitality of the crew is not something you can find everywhere, especially with this price range.

Ate here for my partner birthday and we loved every minute. The atmosphere, food and staff were top notch. I would recommend the snails starter and we’re still thinking about that chocolate mousse dessert we got. Plus they really took care off my partners birthday dessert, everyone from floor and bar staff sang, it was great. Will definitely be back!

Loved the food there, especially the cauliflower. The chocolate mousse was out of this world and I would have loved a bigger portion! The cocktails were also very good.
I wasn’t too convinced with the cheese platter that I found quite small and some cheese weren’t that great.
Would be great if they could add more vegan options for mains on the menu.

Le French Cafe is an oasis of excellent food in Amsterdam! I have enjoyed coming to this place many times and it only gets better. A cozy candle lit ambiance only adds to a marvelous experience here. Dishes are delicious and you can find french cuisine at it’s best. Carefully selected wine list and cocktails are available as well as small bites if that’s what you want. A big shout out to Job and the whole team for making evenings here so special. I strongly recommend this place!

This restaurant has a nice vibe to it. I was a fan of the interior and they really did well with the French theme.
The food was okay. I had the entrecôte, and the stake itself was good, but the fries were just a bit too harsh (which is a bit French to be fair). The dessert was good, I would have liked it more if it would have been 50% 50% cream and mousse. The chocolate mousse was very heavy ( but good)!

The atmosphere is quite cozy and chill. We ordered steak and burger with fries. The burger was fine while the steak was a bit chewy for me but the sauce was good. The fries were also nice!
There are brunch menu as well here and they look quite nice! (We just observed from other table beside ours). We will definitely try the brunch menu for our next visit.
