Delicious peruvian chicken. Great sauces. Restaurant very clean and the staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Loved the green sauce. I might order the breast next time (my husband’s shown) just because the leg/thigh wasn’t very big. The rice and beans was also delicious.

This place is definitely a hidden gem and they have authentic Peruvian food. You think Alpaca is good, wait till you try Chio’s. This is real Peruvian rotisserie chicken!!! I ordered just chicken with rice and sweet plantains but it was all really good and well seasoned. I liked their mayo and the spicy sauce! Wooo! loved it! Better than the one at Alpaca for sure and it really makes you think of South American flavors. I can’t wait to go back and try all the other Peruvian dishes they have. The customer service was amazing too. 10/10

This is going to replace my trips to Alpaca in White Oak (Sorry alpaca). I bought take out tonight for myself and my 4 teens. We got a whole chicken with rice and cornbread and then added on some black beans and green beans.
The chicken was amazing. The rice was perfect. The corn bread was a bit dry. I wouldn’t get it again. My kids loved the green and black beans.

Stopped here for lunch. Needed meat only option with no sides as part of carnivore diet. Staff was helpful and replied to questions regarding how chicken was cooked.
$12-14 for 2 pieces is pricey. Chicken was good but nothing fabulous. Thigh meat was 4/5, breast was dry and 2/5.
Will be back here but may get only thigh meat.

Food was good but the bad service outweighed that. Two girls taking our order were not friendly at all. No smile, nothing. I really like the music in there, just too loud. Also, most of the tables and chairs were dirty. Only came to eat here because Mojo’s next door was closed. Also, by reading the reviews, the owner can’t take criticism that can help them improve their business.

We were travelling back to Wilmington NC coming from our San Diego CA trip and stopped by for Peruvian food. It was very oily and pricy for what it was. We basically paid $35 per person. Then again, I guess it’s unfair to compare food and customer service from San Diego to a middle of nowhere spot here in NC. However, if the food is not that good they should at least be better in providing service. The waitress with curly hair and glasses is a bit rude. We tipped them really well and I asked for a small sauce to go but she snapped and stayed you’ll have to pay extra for it. My mom and I just left instead. Definitely not stopping by Garner NC again because of this restaurant, left a bad taste in our mouth for sure.

We thought we were going into a chicken joint. Boy were we wrong! The nice lady at the counter explained that we were in a Peruvian Chicken Restaurant. She told us what they had, how to order it and what we could get if we didn’t want chicken. She also explained the sauces to us. It was Very relieving to a couple of old gringo ladies from a small town! Lol
While we waited (not long at All) for our order we looked at the beautiful decor and chatted with her.
Then the food:
It was excellent! Rotisserie chicken and green beans. Seasoned to perfection! If you was a small adventure for your mouth…you can’t go wrong here!

I work around the corner from this place and the food is incredible. The people inside are extremely kind and caring. I even had a payment messed up and they took care of it immediately. If you’re debating on trying some food here don’t hesitate. This place is awesome. Thank you again

My husband (who is Peruvian) and I love this place!! We go here frequently. Our favorite dishes are the ceviche and lomo saltado (both the steak and chicken versions are good). We also enjoy the empanadas and Arroz Chaufa. We have had the beef lomito sandwich, and would only recommend having that in the restaurant, because the bun gets too soggy taking it to go. We love their desserts, too! We have had the alfajores cookies and flan. For drinks, we love their chicha morada and the maracuya (passion fruit juice)! I included pictures of the ceviche, chicha morada, and empanadas.
