This is One of my Favorite To-go Spot for Breakfast Burrito and Fried Tilapia.
But I hate to say it, our recent experience at El Forastero Mexican Food-was really disappointing. We’ve ordered from here many times, enjoying their breakfast burritos, fish tacos, and fried tilapia. However, our last visit was a whole different story.
The food we received was unsatisfactory—we were served old, soggy French fries, and two of our breakfast burritos were not up to standard. We mentioned it to the employees, they said it was okay, but honestly, it wasn’t. I even had to remove many old fries that tasted spoiled.
To top it off, I ended up feeling really unwell shortly after eating, with repeated bathroom trips. This is definitely not what we expect from a place we used to love. I really think management needs to review their procedures to ensure proper standards are maintained.
Hope something change. Then I will be coming back again to check it out.

Did I just pay $20 for a scoop of meat, a pinch of cheese and crap ton of chips? We literally filled the whole other side with just dry chips. These were supposed to be super nachos, nothing super about them. Got home to see that there barely any ingredients, super nachos i thought had at the least some beans, tomatoes, onions, maybe some cilantro. Too bad, if they are going to charge that much for barely an appetizer I wont recommend people to eat here.

The fish tacos were unsatisfactory. The fish was dry and overcooked, exhibiting an off-putting flavor. The high price would be acceptable if the food quality and service were improved. The cashier staff demonstrated a complete lack of customer service skills. Furthermore, charging for tap water is unacceptable.

Ive been going there on Sundays. I bought a chili relleno with no sauce to go. Got home public hair right ontop. I went back complained to the staff and she told the owner. Then saw same cook spit in the food. I thought he was fired but he went to another location for a few weeks and hes back. The girl I complained to is fired. Their other location just got inspected w numerous violations from the health dept.

Walk in and some customer in front of me started beef with me for no reason what so ever. Restaurant staff just looked on while it happened but no big deal. My wife places the order and says ” a super burrito no guac or sour cream” the cashier is distracted by her phone. The food comes out and the burrito has guac and sour cream. Cashier says we never said no guac and sour cream and argues with us and refuses to replace it. So needless to say, eventho I was a regular there I will not be going back.

Ordered the chicken taco salad. Everything was fresh and crisp. The tortilla bowl and the side of tortilla chips were still hot when I took a bite when the cashier girl brought over my order and there was a generous mix of fresh lettuce, tomato mixed with the meat and beans. It was good, fresh Mexican fast food. The salsa bar was clean and each salsa bin was filled with fresh salsa. I would go there again.

We went our first time to have dinner here, and the cashier didn’t want to attend us, it was 8:30 and she said it was no possible to eat there because it was almost close, omg there’s the picture it was still a good time to have dinner,
The restaurant was empty and I believe the rest of the costumers are were showing up they had the same answers, ever think about stopping on this place the employee are so rude

Great little hidden gem. While traveling and trying to eat keto, my son and I stopped here for a quick breakfast. Definitely willing to work with me and still have a quality Mexican breakfast that is keto friendly. My son not so much keto friendly, but both were very, very good. Also looks like they cater or make it easy to pick-up a tray of carne asada or carnitas, and of course rice and beans too, if you can eat those.

The customer service is always excellent. They were one of the first restaurants to put up the huge glass partition between the customers and the food counter. The food is always delicious and for a better price than most Mexican restaurants. 4 stars because sometimes I’ll find a hair in my food. It’s happened twice, consecutive days, so I took a long break from this restaurant. Happy to say there was no hair this time around. The drinks are always yummy. I need to order the large next time. I drink the smalls really fast. This is my second go-to Mexican restaurant. I only have two. That says a lot. Nacho cheese and well-cooked and seasoned shrimp is a must. They have that here. Keep up the great work guys!

☆Churro w/no filling. I am so happy they offer filled and sun-filled churros. I strongly dislike filling, but my boyfriend loves it. They’ve got the best of both worlds at this restaurant.
