It was an OK experience, not a superb one. First, you can’t see the menu while in line. The menu isn’t visible until you get to the counter and the menu has changed layout slightly so I definitely need to see it before the counter. My husband and I both ordered sandwich meals which the menu picture shows with lettuce and tomato but ours didn’t come either on our sandwiches. The sandwiches were delicious despite this. The broccoli salad was also good. The drinks area was clean and the drinks were good as well. The pickles were disappointingly flaccid and not crisp. My husband said his pasta salad had good flavor but wasn’t dressed enough and dry. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I’ll probably wait to go back and will definitely ask to make sure my sandwich has tomatoes and lettuce. There’s no fixing that pickle with questions. They need a different vendor.

This week we met an awesome employee Ashlea P. who taught us that they also have seasonal scoops and soups available. Her recommendation of the Greek Goddess scoop did not disappoint!!
We were so thankful for her patience and assistance in asking questions on our large order.
We will definitely be back regularly!

This location has amazing customer service. Chicken salad chick is not a new business. It’s just new to Covington. It seems as though some of the reviews were expecting some magical chicken salad. However the food is always fresh and the employees are always amazing. As we know customer service is lacking these days especially in Covington. The workers here make me want to buy the food even though it’s basic. Brooklyn & Uriyah are such sweethearts. They deserve all the good that comes to them. I will be back again next week. ❤️

12/6/25 I went for the first time today and I was very pleased with my order. I ordered the chicken melt with Sassy Scotty chicken salad and a side of pasta salad. Very good!
12/10/25 – I had to edit my review. The first time that I went, everything was perfect. This time, my croissant was not fresh, which ruined the sandwich. The first time my croissant was perfection! Disappointed in this experience.

Have been eating chicken salad chick for about a year even before this new location so I love it. My last three visits to the location no so much.
1st time I got food for me an the family and spent about $50-$60 and two tray were missing a scoop each. Second time a few days later I was missing a side of broccoli and they called me ahead of time and let me know they were out of the flavor I wanted and that was already something, third time today. I ordered soup and they didn’t give me any silverware. I guess I’m supposed to eat soup with my hands

I was fortunate enough to be #20 of the first 100 on the opening day of Chicken Salad Chick in Covington! I was so impressed with the employees beginning when it was still dark outside and we were anxiously awaiting the doors to open. The temp was really cold and they handed out hand warmers to all of us waiting. When the doors opened, while it was crazy busy, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff was very friendly. I LOVED my Sassy Scotty with cheddar toasted on a croissant. Oh, and the grape salad is absolutely addicting. I went back a couple of more times during their first week of being open, and each time was just as good as the first. I tried the broccoli salad and Fancy Nancy on white bread on another visit and was just as pleased. The line was a little long, but the wait was not. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend going – even if you think the line is too long! It moves rather quickly!”
