The food is amazing, so so good. Atmosphere is honestly what I want from a small authentic restaurant, so nothing to be upset about there! 10/10 would recommend, not a lot of good Indian food in this area, check it out!

I like to patronize new Indian restaurants in the area. Unfortunately this one is a hard pass. The chicken 65 was the most flavorless dish I’ve had anywhere in 2026. They butchered one of my favorite foods. It tasted like… food coloring and nothing.
I also ordered chicken seekh kabob. It was better than the chicken 65 – I had chosen the hottest spice level but it had no heat. But they give you half the volume of kebab than other south asian places for the same price. Literally half. $16.50 for like 2 kabobs they cut up when other places give you 4 long big kabobs for that price.
Never again.

I’ve tried a lot of different Indian restaurants, and this place is my new favorite. The vegetable samosas were delicious and possibly the best thing we ordered (they are well seasoned and super flaky). The korma and tikka masala were excellent (I preferred the medium spice level). They use good quality chicken here. The highest praise I can give this restaurant is that my girlfriend, who doesn’t normally like Indian food, wants to go back. Definitely worth a try if you like Indian food or have been on the fence about it before. My only negative, which I won’t take stars away for, is that the naan was not as good as other places. If you really want some kind of bread, go for the bhatura.

The shahi paneer was amazing. The texture of their paneer is great and the sauce was so flavorful. Excellent service too.

I have now gotten food from Royal Curry House three times. It has always been good and the prices are quite reasonable. I typically call my order in when leaving, and it is ready in the 10 minutes it takes to drive to the restaurant. While I’ve never eaten inside the restaurant, the restaurant has always had plenty of seating. The one piece of advice I’d share is that “medium” spicy is plenty spicy at this place. I like things really hot/spicy, and “medium” is about right for me. My first time here, I ordered the top level of spicy, and my Caucasian mucous membranes went into overdrive and it was hard to taste the food. Overall, great place. A very welcome addition to the neighborhood.
My favorites: dal tadka, butter chicken, regular naan

Decent food, not a big fan of the chicken 65, curry was ok but the chicken had gone slightly bad.

I love Indian food and have been fortunate enough to have Indian friends and been to India for work. This does make me picky when it comes to Indian restaurants. This place did not disappoint! It’s menu is the standard menu you get in most US Indian restaurants but all fresh, great portions, and they’ll spicy it up if asked! It’s more of a takeout place with a few basic tables but I put this at the top in terms of Indian in STL!

The Butter chicken was excellent, one of the best in stl.
The Lamb biryani was also excellent. Large portion sizes.
Highly recommend!

This is some of the best Indian food I’ve had in St. Louis. The flavors are deep and lively. Service was great, too. Our waitress was very kind and attentive. Great local spot!
