Our daughter had a Show Choir Concert in Chippewa Falls. We asked locals about a place to eat and were directed to the general area of The Hiker. My wife loves trying new coffee shops and sampling exotic food. My wife raved about the coffee, and the entire time we waited for my food from another store, she was raving about her dish from the Hiker. The service staff quickly took my wife’s order and prepared the food. The young staff members were kind of funny and annoyed with us, which is customary for swanky coffee shops. We found it amusing. She enjoyed every bite and considered getting another coffee for the road. We are looking forward to coming back again the next time we are in town. I would highly recommend any coffee enthusiast check out the Hiker if in the Chippewa Falls area.

First time here. Located inside the food court, it’s a really nice space with plenty of room, various seating areas, and lots of natural light from the large windows.
I got a super nice greeting from the barista and ordered a Chai Latte. Normally, I would go for a London Fog Tea Latte in a mug, but they didn’t offer that. The Chai Latte I had instead was very good — flavorful, well-balanced, and served at the right temperature.
I’d definitely stop again if I’m in the area.

Amazing atmosphere, food is delicious, the staff is incredible! I love coming here every time without fail! I appreciate that the food menu is gluten free and partially dairy free there are not many places like that! I highly recommend the matcha, any of the smoothies, and the braised beef bowl but you can’t go wrong with anything on their menu.

Nice little place to stop and get breakfast or lunch. Limited options but they are all tasty. Great for any food sensitives or intolerances. I got the breakfast bowl.

I want to write be fair in my review here so first of all, this company’s coffee is outstanding (the hazelnut being my personal favorite)! Truly, the product itself is great and I can’t recommend it highly enough.
However, please be wary of any online ordering. We loved the product so much that we signed up for a subscription box. When the box that was supposed to be delivered to us mistakenly went to an address in another state (but was billed to us), we attempted to contact the company/owners to correct the error. After four attempts and nothing but repeated “auto messages” saying they were experiencing “larger than normal order volumes and emails” and would “get back to us in 1-2 days,” we finally canceled our subscription and disputed the charge with our credit card company.
The company has no published phone number and no recourse to contact them other than through a general “support@….” email address.
Bottom line is the customer service, if you have concerns or need to communicate regarding your order, is non-existent. So disappointing.

Great local shop in a larger marketplace style venue. Friendly service, great coffee options and lots of good seating options. Branding is on point! Worth a visit!

Our experience wasn’t to be desired for the hipped reviews, even asking people what they thought about the place after this critics radom stop. Wasn’t marked very well from parking area.
my vanilla chi latte didn’t taste like a chi latte. And a medium is a small!
We experience a real fruit drink, that was described as, ” so good” – only to find out it tasted like vinegar and rotten fruit.

Absolutely delicious coffee you don’t want to miss out on! I love that they use clean, organic ingredients. I think you can simply taste the quality! My husband and I were in town a couple of days and we had planned to try some other shops, but instead, we just went to Hikers on repeat!

Want an incredible option to Starbucks’ over-roasted beans when visiting the Chippewa Falls and Eau Claire, Wisconsin, area? Visit Hiker. The staff can be somewhat cold and aloof if you’re not a regular, just like a proper Euro java cafe. But the espresso is perfection in a tiny cup, just like a proper Euro cafe as well.
