Food was wonderful, from salads to entrees. Service was so good it felt almost too good lol. Everything was wonderful, will be back.
We started with their table bread and this was some outstanding bread, which also included crackers and I’m pretty sure it’s all made in-house. They have a nice wine list and it’s not over-priced either. Next up was their salad, which was really good and made with fresh ingredients! Definitely enough salad to split with someone.
Their entrées all impressed those at the table! The pork chop was incredible and so was the fish dish of the night, a halibut. Pizza was really good too! Highly recommend saving room for dessert, they have a nice list of options for dessert!
Definitely some really good eats here… Stop in and see for yourself!
Upon arrival on a Monday evening, the parking lot was completely full, so I had to find a creative spot of my own. Entering alone and intending to sit at the bar, I was greeted warmly by Nina and Carol even though both the dining room and bar were packed. I mentioned my preference for a bar seat, and they immediately let me know the two end seats would soon be available as those guests were moving to a table. The short wait proved to be an excellent decision.
Angela, the bartender, delivered exceptional service right from the start. She prepared a superb variation on a Boulevardier that incorporated banana bitters, resulting in one of the most balanced and memorable cocktails I have ever enjoyed.
On her excellent recommendations, I ordered the local beets with goat cheese as my appetizer, which offered a perfect harmony of earthy and creamy flavors, followed by the lobster risotto as my main course. The risotto was rich, flawlessly prepared, and easily ranks among the best I have ever tasted. I finished with the crème brûlée, whose perfectly crisp caramelized top and velvety custard made it outstanding in every way.
On a Monday night, particularly in today’s restaurant environment, one might reasonably expect a good but not remarkable meal. Siena delivered something far greater: outstanding cuisine, a lively yet genuinely welcoming atmosphere, and attentive, personalized service that made the entire evening feel special.
My sincere appreciation goes to Nina, Carol, Angela, and the entire team for transforming a solo dinner during a business trip into a truly memorable and exceptional experience. If you find yourself in or near Buffalo, Siena is absolutely worth your time. Reserve a table and go; you will not be disappointed.
5 stars without hesitation. This is a standout restaurant.
