The Sunday brunch & show was THE BEST time we’ve had in years! Took a group of 6 ladies to celebrate our friend who’s getting married and for some of us not in our 20s any more (or 40s) and have no desire to stay out until all hours of the night to have a good time, the Sunday show is perfect. Everyone raved over their food! Service was amazing. Cocktails were yum! Entertainers were so much fun! Just when we thought oh this is probably the last song, there’d be another! If you’ve never been, youre missing out on a really good time!

Awesome Drag show!!!
There are 2 shows on Sunday, 11am and 2pm. We attended the 11am show. The atmosphere was great. Tip the entertainers!! If you don’t have cash on hand that’s fine, you can scan the QR codes to tip the entertainers.
Please make a reservation in advance.
Celestia was the host and was Funny!

The show was AMAZING!!! Our server Edwardo AMAZING!!! The food was good, and it lacked variety. The portion size was excellent. Took a while for the food to come out, but the show kept us occupied and entertained. The drinks were very good, get that pink slush, but watch out, it sneaks up on you.

We went to a 2pm show for my best friends birthday.
The queens were amazing. High energy and super engaging and entertaining. They called on my friend multiple times and made her feel really special. Celestia really carries the whole place. (Deserves a raise, some tips and some more)
Well Tiff, if you had such a good time, why not 5 stars? I’ll tell you.
We had a party of 8 and all of our food got to us different times. Not 5 or even 10 minutes but 45 minutes apart. The drinks were fine. When you book online they mention its $25 but fail to mention the 20% gratuity they automatically add which brought my meal up to $34. For a salad that was just ok. No alcohol. Seems a bit steep but for the show itself it’s definitely worth the trip and I would not mind catching another show. There’s nothing else like it in the area.

The drag brunch at Godfrey’s costs $33 per person, which includes a choice of entrée, unlimited non-alcoholic beverages, and the entertainment fee. Alcohol and gratuity are not included in this price. Honestly, the food and non-alcoholic drinks are nowhere near worth $33. And since you’re expected to tip the performers in cash during the show, why is there even an entertainment fee included in the $33?!

For food, I ordered the banana-stuffed French toast, which was delicious. My friend had the steak and potato salad but wasn’t thrilled—the steak was overly fatty, although the rest of the salad was good. Keep in mind the food is cooked by a three-person kitchen, so the wait time is significant. We ordered at 2:15, got our food at 2:56, and there were still diners waiting for food well past 3:55.

The cocktails were ridiculously strong—so strong I couldn’t enjoy mine, even after diluting it with plain orange juice. This might be great for those who love strong drinks, but it wasn’t for me.

When it came to the performances, Jermaine was the standout star. He put on a true show and was incredibly entertaining. Avalanche and Monica made an effort with some dancing and crowd engagement, but Alvion was a letdown. Her “performance” mostly consisted of walking around lip-syncing and collecting tips with little effort to entertain. For $33 a person, I expected every performer to bring more to the table. It felt like the focus was on getting tips rather than providing a memorable show. Honestly, I think they push the strong drinks so you don’t realize how lackluster some of the performances are.

For two people (we also ordered one round of cocktails), after tax and tip, our final bill came to $109.70—not counting the cash tips for the performers. It’s an overpriced experience overall, and I won’t be going back. The drag shows at Star Hill Beer Hall are far superior. Their performers actually PERFORM, and you leave feeling like you’ve gotten your money’s worth.

My only “complaint” would be I personally prefer a little more crisp on my breakfast potatoes, but regardless the food was 5 stars. The performers (Stacy, Monica, London and Celestia) were perfect in appearance, performance, and illusion. The mix of entertainment, brunch, and day drinking are the perfect combo for a lazy Saturday morning. I will 100% recommend Godfrey’s to everyone of every race and orientation.

My reserved seats for the Drag Brunch were at the bar. They were uncomfortable and we were in the middle of the room with the spotlight glare. I had to wait almost 20 minutes for our server to take our order.

However these were the best seats in the house to enjoy the show! And the Ladies Served✨ ✨
My cocktail, the Madame, was Fierce
I recommend their Banana Stuffed French Toast – it melted in my mouth
