Absolutely obsessed—Barrel 33 is a must-visit!
From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was relaxed but elevated—the perfect mix of cozy and cool. The service was friendly, fast, and genuinely welcoming.
I ordered the Blueberry Lemon Drop Martini, and it was hands down one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. Just the right balance of sweet and tart, and so refreshing. The Hangover Burger was everything you want in comfort food—juicy, flavorful, and stacked with all the good stuff. Total perfection.
Barrel 33 knows how to do it right—amazing food, incredible drinks, and a vibe that makes you want to stay all night. I’ll absolutely be back!

Popped in the a quick bite with some friends. Our friends are vegan and were able to find multiple items on the menu that met their dietary needs.

Quite a nice place! The hot peppers were realllllllly good! We all liked our dishes. The service was super nice and he was very attentive. Definitely would come back for a laid-back dinner!

We walked in, wasnt expecting a greeting and we didn’treceive one anyway. So we found a seat and it seemed like we waited quite a while to be noticed or even an acknowledgement. Something like, may I take your drink order. We waited about 8-10 min. Nobody came to our table, it wasn’t busy, Menu wasn’t what I expected. We got up and left.
Went next door to the Italian restaurant and received the service I expected at Barrel 33. Their service was impeccable and they even boxed our leftovers up for us. Now Red Plum Pizza is a great place. Good prices and the food and service was amazing!

Came here for lunch and Bre was our server. She was so nice and attentive. She made an amazing frosted cookie martini. We had the pretzel and avocado chicken club and both were very yummy. Definitely recommend!

As this was our first time dining here at Barrel 33 we didn’t know what to expect, we didn’t know whether the food was going to be any good, or how attentive the wait staff was going to be, we weren’t expecting alot, as our other dining experiences have let us down before we were thinking this was going to be the same old same old.
To our surprise the wait staff was very attentive keeping our drinks refilled, they never ran empty, when it came to our appetizer and our food they were always asking how it was, if we needed anything else. the wait staff are amazing and if not for just the food being great we would definitely dine here again.
The food was immaculate, we had the deep fried pickles appetizer and I will tell you straight from the heart I’ve never had fried pickles as delicious as these were, not even Quaker Steak has pickles this delicious. 10/10
We each ordered the Philly cheesesteak, hers with the garlic aoli and mine without, and I have to say we were both surprised at how delicious, savory, and tender the steak was. This is the type of dining experience we have expected but have never gotten to witness. Barrel 33 has really out done themselves.
The only problem I had and I’m sure my wife probably had was the Ambiance, the music was great, but the lighting was terrible it was difficult to read the menus and I was almost at the point where I was going to turn on the flashlight on my phone to read what was available but it’s nothing to complain about, these old tired eyes just don’t see very well anymore and it’s not their fault. yes I would have liked a little more light to see, but I get it, the feel they were going for, which makes the overall dining experience enjoyable and pleasant.

We had a fabulous dinner. The food was excellent and the wait staff were attentive and professional. I had the salmon bowl and I highly recommend it! My only complaint is the live music. We went there to talk and enjoy a meal. We had to leave as we could not hear when the music started. It was early in the evening and another table of ladies near us had the same complaint. They could not converse. Live music is great I felt they could have been in the background so we could still have a conversation, enjoy our meal and the music.

First time. Everything was good. Only issue I had as a chef is that the salmon for the bourbon salmon rice bowl was that it was cubed and DEEP FRIED! Who in their right mind as a culinarian would do such a thing? That’s worse than deep frying bacon. You can do better.

First time visiting, so I can’t compare the old vs new ownership, but I definitely enjoyed myself. Mike and the other gentleman bartender made me feel welcome, both were super attentive and they crafted great cocktails. My food was pretty tasty and the vibe was nice inside. John the owner came out and introduced himself and made sure I was enjoying myself. Very nice guy. I live in Boardman, but will definitely be back soon!

This is a little hidden gem in Howland. I had been eyeballing it for a while so we decided to come in for a girls date.
Our server was awesome. I ordered a drink at first that just wasn’t my thing, and that was of no fault of the bartender I just stepped outside of what I usually go for and the bourbon as I should have expected tasted like old leather. The server was so nice about it and made me feel less bad about sending it back.
I ended up drinking my friends sangria instead and she ordered a different drink too. Our food was great! The truffle fries appetizer hit the spot. I had the salmon stir fry and my friend got the burger. Both were delicious. We ended our lunch by splitting a brownie sundae. The brownie was gooey and perfect.
I feel like you can truly tell how good a restaurant is by how they take care of their restroom areas. This place is selfie ready! The bathroom wallpaper is friggin adorable and I’ll spare you guys all the selfies, but please note I took probably 50 pictures in there because it was so cute. In my experience every time I’ve gone somewhere and the bathrooms nice you will never walk out of there unimpressed. The owners take pride in every facet of the business and I take NOTE, too. I’ve sent a few friends in since I visited in the beginning of May.
I’ll definitely be back to try out more of the menu soon!
