We asked for recommendations from the kitchen and wound up with steak bite egg rolls, with sweet & spicy chili dipping sauce. They were really delicious. The jalapeno poppers, served with ranch dip were creamy and crunchy and better than what we usually find in similar establishments. The beer was nice and cold and there were plenty of options. Aside from the starters, the menu was standard bar and grill food. See the menu photos. We ordered one steak and one chicken philly sub sandwich for the meal, and it was good. The fries were fresh cut.
There were 25 televisions around the room mainly showing college football at the time, and it was more engaging than watching at home, for sure! The tavern space is open concept with various seating options, and has great sound. (Sometimes you go to a place and you can’t even hear the game.)
Live music was setting up for an 8 pm start, which we didn’t stay for but looked like it was going to be pretty good.
This is a great new edition for hometown Greeneville and I hope other people enjoy it too.
Break down of my honest opinion.
Lets start with the layout nice open floor plan with seating. 2 pool tables. Multiple little flats screens. I guess because they are small TV. Dim lighting. The bar seating is like shoulder to shoulder. Maybe a finger nail size to the rest of the place.
The night I went amber 40 people. And our waitress worked her dairy air off! Which in turn she got alot of stuff wrong not only at our table but multiple other tables. There was 3 other waitress and they were to busy on their phones to lift a finger. Bartender was hateful when you went up to get your tables drinks because your waitress was busy running like a chicken with her head off. Not a good team there. Just sad that our waitress was there to work but ended up doing multiple jobs she couldn’t do her job well. NOT HER FAULT.
Food….well it was about HORRIBLE! It took 45 minutes to get food out to the table. I had a the rodeo burger with onions rings and bbq and fries…well the bbq sauce tasted like burnt ketchup and A1 sauce. Not even in the same ball park as BBQ sauce. The burger itself is ordered medium. It was was dry as the desert! It just feel apart. Couldn’t even use a fork. And on the menu it said topped with onion rings…plural correct. Nope they meant onion rings singular. One soggy nasty onion ring. The fries were semi warm but tasted like they been under a warming light for a while.
The group of people I went with (group of 7) was very disappointed. Most of the food was trashed. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Great bartender
Service is a bit slow, too. It’s a new place, so I’m hoping for improvement as they figure things out
