This place is great. The food was fast and moderately priced, and the sushi rolls were huge, so big that if I had known they were that big I would have only ordered one. The outside is unappealing but that can’t be helped in merrysville. The inside is very nice and the workers were kind and patient. I give it 4 rather than 5 because the food was good but not great, lots of sesame seeds in both rolls and the breeding on the shrimp nuggets was kind of mushy but if they cooked it longer it would have burned so I don’t blame them. All in all, I’m coming back.

This is really good sushi…the rolls are wonderful and extremely good value for money. The chefs and staff are warm and friendly and the establishment is very clean and welcoming. My only tiny criticism is the ‘fast food’ feel with to go containers only and packs of soy sauce, plastic cutlery. I understand that in the geographical location Merrysville is situated that that the ‘fast food’ angle may be better suited but in my opinion it does a disservice to the really good food. That being said it certainly won’t put me off though……

The food is really good, and not expensive. I always have the veggie roll and is delicious. The staff is always nice and makes you feel welcome and has a plane decor; you never have to wait a long time to get your food. The crispy bread is a must try.

The location will make you think twice but that changes once you get through the door. Friendly older asian man meets you at the counter and takes your order. He is a little hard to understand but his additude makes up for it. Even if you eat in it all comes in take out boxes but not marked so you have to figure out what is what…then you eat it and you are pleasantly surprised it is great. The price point is pretty normal for sushi but the portions arent. The rolls are 50% bigger then normal sushi places, so remember you can always order more…one might be enough.

Lived in the area for 3 years, never came because of the haunting location. However the risk is definitely worth the reward! Very clean inside, sushi comes in awesome quantities and taste is very competitive with sushi restaurants in Sacramento, Roseville, and Chico.
