Had such a fantastic meal here. The Coconut King Prawns and the Rajasthani Laal Maas were absolute standouts: rich, flavourful, and honestly some of the best dishes we’ve had in Glasgow recently.

Restaurant was busy and had a nice atmosphere.
On arrival we received a warm welcome.
Staff were on hand quickly to arrange a drinks order and were very attentive throughout our visit.
Food was freshly made hot and very well presented.
The food itself was excellent.

The food was absolutely delicious and the portions were great for the price. My only criticisms are that the table was small and even when bringing food to the table empty glasses were left meaning we had even less space to have things sitting on the table so felt a bit cramped and we also felt a bit rushed. We were eating our starters and staff could clearly see we weren’t finished yet but came over several times to see if we were done yet in order to bring out mains. Other than this, couldn’t fault the place everything was great !

Had a very enjoyable meal with my husband tonight at the Ashoka South Side. The menu is not extensive but varied enough that everyone could find a satisfying choice.
Our waitress,Jenny, was very helpful, pleasant and attentive and that added to the enjoyment of our meal.
The place was busy with a mixture of types of parties from couple to families and the atmosphere was good. I would recommend it to others wanting a good Indian meal.
