First time eating here. The falafel sandwich was very delicious. I paired it with the lentil soup, which wasn’t that good. The consistency was off and it kept separating, which is a natural process, but I didnt expect it to happen so soon, as if water was added to a mix or something.

The interior at Grill Express was clean, but I waited about 30 minutes for my food to go. I ordered a beef shawarma sandwich with feta fries. The sandwich was on the smaller side, but I liked that it was crisped up, and the beef was juicy and flavorful.
The feta fries were overcooked. So crispy and hard that a fork couldn’t even puncture them. The cheese topping was okay and nicely spiced. Overall, the meal was a little overpriced for the size and cost, but the sandwich itself was tasty.

Excellent food with fast and courteous service.
Very clean lobby and good atmosphere. Washrooms could use a quick touch up but maybe we caught them right after a busy time.
We shall definitely love to visit again.

Perhaps it was an off night, quality, and taste of the food seems to have taken a dive from more “wow’d” experiences the two times I ate here last year. The fries were seasoned well, and I’m glad I got a $0.75 container of garlic sauce because this combo redeemed the chicken schawarma wrap. All in all, good price point for a filling meal, not my first choice. They’re open late, which is another redeeming quality..

Searched for something different than the usual boring cuisine and came across this place. We are very happy we stopped as the good was perfect and the service matched the food!
We ordered a variety and had plenty for dinner later that day.
Parking was a little bit of a PITA as we are not familiar with the area, but once we parked it was a pleasant experience!

The food at Grill Express is a treat. I had the Mixed Platter and the meats were seasoned perfectly. I like the pairing with rice, salad and pita. It was a wonderful dish. I would absolutely come again. The baklava was the best we have had. A flaky top crust with a just right amount of sweetness. The touch of cinnamon flavor really took it up a notch.
