Definitely wasn’t my favorite bbq. Also wasn’t the worst. The texture of the chopped wet brisket is… off putting. Reminds me of the pre packaged stuff sold in tubs. But for $17.50 for a small sandwich, side and drink, and an “extreme” loaded potato it was a decent lunch. Can’t say I’ll be back. But we tried it.

My husband and I were in the mood for bbq and his coworkers mentioned Dales being worth a try. The restaurant had a very fun environment. There was lots of signs, art, and memorabilia on the walls. I love looking at this kind of stuff! Nostalgia is awesome!
They were helpful and it’s easy to order. There’s a counter with signs and food on display to entice you.
My husband and I both got the 2 meat meal. It came with 2 sides and a piece of bread. I opted for the turkey breast and sliced brisket. I wanted corn nuggets but they were out. Maybe next time? The okra was a decent second choice. It was crunchy and fresh. The mac and cheese was very creamy but could have been a little more flavorful. The meats were both very good. The turkey was perfect! It was very moist with nice smoky flavor. The brisket was nice. I’ve had better but also had worse. They offered both hot and regular bbq sauce. They were excellent! I tried my husband ribs. They were tender and fall off the bone.
They had peach cobbler and pecan pi for dessert. I was interested in the pie but it wasn’t made in house so I decided not to try it.
We will most definitely be repeat customers of Dale’s! Give them a try hopefully you’ll have as good an experience as we did!

Ordered two meat plate (sliced brisket and smoked turkey) with baked beans and Mac & cheese. For dessert got peach cobbler. Inside the walls had old signs and the floor and ceiling showed its age but it also gave the interior character. I was comfortable and relaxed while I ate. Food was delicious overall. The brisket was tender and tasty. What surprised me the most was the smoked turkey, this was tender & moist and had smoked flavors in every bite. Baked beans were sweet and the Mac & cheese reminded me of home made from scratch. Peach cobbler added a nice touch to end the meal. Staff were helpful, honest, courteous, and friendly. This is a great place to relax, enjoy BBQ, and watch TV.

This place is a hidden gem! The food was amazing and the atmosphere feels like a down home place! We got the family dinner to split. It came with a slab of ribs and we opted for sliced brisket. The ribs were huge, tender, and full of flavor. The brisket was just as good as the ribs! Tender with smoke flavor on point! The owners were very friendly and gave us a generous portion of bread to go with our meal. The baked beans, Mac and cheese, and potato salad we got for our sides were all fantastic! I couldn’t get enough of the baked beans! We typically go to Rib Crib, but this is far better and we will definitely be back!

This was so disappointing. I had been craving ribs all day in anticipating having take-out from Dales. Unfortunately, it was completely tasteless, dry and tough like it had been sitting out all day. We bought the 3 meat dinner which used to be outstanding. We will not be eating there again.

Cute, casual BBQ place decorated with antique signs and an OU theme. Food was good and reasonably priced. The lite meal was a decent sized sandwich and choice of side with a drink under $7. The chopped brisket came with tangy tomato sauce already mixed into the meat. There were several sides to choose from: potato salad (I ordered), fried okra, baked beans, coleslaw, etc. $2 for a warm cherry or peach cobbler, or brownie for dessert. Dale’s also offers catering.

Do better Dale’s
These are supposed to be ribs? I was ready to get the ribs, they are hands down one of the best ribs in OKC.
FOOD DREAM SHATTERED When i got home, opened the box with excitement…and saw those ribs my rumbling stomach was even louder because the smell was… AAHHHHmazing. Smelling delicious aroma of ribs and not being able to eat it made me and my belly very sad. Lesson…Should have checked them before I left……But I have never had to. You have been a staple in the community for decades because you have had held your food quality to a very high standard.

Mrs. Flip Out and I stopped in for lunch since we were in the area. We both got a two meat combo. I got their smoked sausage and jalapeño cheddar sausage; Mrs. Flip Out had the smoked turkey and chopped bbq brisket. I really enjoyed both meats and they each had great flavor. Mrs. Flip Out liked the smoked turkey more than the chopped bbq brisket. We both really liked their house made bbq sauces, especially the apple habanero bbq sauce.
