Stopped in for a late lunch on Sunday around 3pm.
I got a flounder sandwich with cup of the soup of the day, Italian wedding soup. Sandwich was not exceptional… frozen thin fillets. Soup was tasty but would have liked it hotter.
Wife got the chopped steak “mini” meal which came with a side salad and choice of sides. She got the mashed potato’s and gravy. The portion was actually very large and she thought it was okay.
Also note this diner does serve alcohol in case that is important to you.
Our server, Samantha was very nice and friendly and handled the service aspect well.
Bathrooms could use some updating and better cleaning.

$11 for the saddest and smallest Belgium waffle I ever had. Portion size was terrible. Waffles are cheap and easy to make, they need to invest in a bigger waffle iron or give you a double stack for this price.
The banana was a slap to the face, obviously a single tiny banana when they should be using 2 or 3. They also aggressively gate off other toppings unless you pay even more. How much is a squirt of chocolate and some whipped cream really going to cost you?

Always a great dinner conversation and the owners are awesome!! Our server Samantha was great always making sure we were ok and if we needed anything. The owners are wonderful!! I was unable to come to the diner due to medical issues, they called and brought food out to me. My husband was laid up and they would send soup to him every week. I am a try believer that being nice and listening to your customers makes you the best you can be. Ozzie and her employees are the best at making you welcome!!

We had a great experience at Danton Diner! I ordered the broiled seafood combination, and everything was cooked perfectly the crab cakes were especially delicious, full of flavor and not overly breaded. The two sides that came with the meal were also excellent and nicely portioned (see picture!).
My mom had the salmon florentine, and it was a standout! The piece of salmon was large, fresh, and flavorful, and she loved the creamy spinach it came with.
The rest of our group ordered burgers, and wow they were huge, juicy, and packed with flavor. Everyone left happy and full. We’ll definitely be back soon!

Alyssa was our waitress, we had a table of 4 adults and 2 children. She took such good care of us, personable, compassionate and professional. We came for the desserts mainly, not many choices to choose from, but let me tell you whatever is in that dessert case is to be ENJOYED TO THE FULLEST!!! I had this banana dessert, my nephew the tuxedo bomb, my mother the little nut/with a hint of rasberry truffle cake and my brother and sister in law the Caramel cheesecake. My niece had two chili cheese hot dogs and my sister in law a club I think. The fries are out of this world. I live 2 hours away, family lives in the area, but I would have no problem whatsoever driving to this establishment to dine here. Such a lovely place, run by an amazing woman that I feel so fortunate to have met. She came and talked with us as we ate, and we all raved at how good her desserts were! I told her, and now I’m telling you-we will be coming back! And you should too! Best of everything!

I ordered chicken quesadilla, and the whole dish tasted fresh, not overly salty, not greasy, and my quesadilla was really hot; the toasted tortilla was nicely crunchy and not soggy. French fries delicious. BLT sandwich delicious as well. Only detail, would be nice to have avocado as option to add to both. We ate also 2 pieces of homemade cake, one strawberry shortcake,other one strawberry& chocolate lava cake that the tasted fresh.

My entree simply wasn’t good. Described wonderful on the menu, but was bland and lackluster. To add insult to injury, my wife’s Shrimp Basket was more breading than shrimp because they use tiny little, skinny shrimp (the ones you typically would use for a salad), with loads of breading. They should be ashamed of themselves. Very disappointed with this place. Won’t be back again.

On our way to Bethany Beach and there was a slow down because of an accident.
Found this little gem in the strip mall near the Super Walmart.
Fish and chips were crispy and tasty. Broiled crab cakes had big pieces of crab. Sides were tasty and salads crisp.
Highly recommend this family establishment.

Stopped on the way home from the beach. I got the Chicken BLT with fries and my wife got the Tuscan Chicken Wrap with coleslaw. Both were very good. Nice grill taste on the chicken, bacon was crisp, green leaf lettuce not iceberg. The fries were excellent! Crispy and soft inside, which is how I like them. Well worth a stop to eat on the long drive home from the beach.
