You could easily drive right past Alforno and miss it. It’s quietly tucked at the end of a strip mall. But you would be missing out on an excellent dining experience. The ambience is classy and romantic, the service friendly and professional, and the food is delicious. I tried the calamari, which was perfectly breaded and fried, crunchy and lightly seasoned. Then I had the walnut and blue cheese salad which has ample sized, fresh and delicious. But the icing on the cake was the dessert of pistachio semifreddo. It was drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with sea salt. I will definitely eat dinner here again the next time I’m in the area.

The real secret on the menu only shows up at lunchtime: the fish sandwich. The flavors are outstanding, and like everything else here, it arrives piping hot. Every plate comes out hot from the kitchen, which sounds basic, but far too many places send out food that is just barely warm.
The drinks are well made, and the wine list is thoughtfully put together and very reasonable. Whether you are dropping in for a relaxed lunch or a full dinner, Alforno delivers quality, comfort, and value in every visit.

The other reviews for the gluten free pizza almost made me skip this spot. I am so glad I didn’t! The gluten free pizza was delicious! The crust was crisp and nicely done. Also their bacon is amazing! The server was also very nice and accommodated my multiple food intolerances with ease.

Another great meal at Alfornos! Veal meatballs are fabulous, not to be missed, Bolognese sauce another huge hit, you really can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. Get there early, by 5:00 there’s a line waiting to get in, no reservations!

My wife and I went for dinner. I had chicken marsala and my wife had shrimp in vodka, penne.
Mine was excellent. The chicken was tender. The sauce was fantastic.
I wish I could say the same thing from my wife’s. The vodka penne sauce was thin, didn’t have body to it. my wife had me taste hers, and there was a strong scent of the shrimp and I’ve never had shrimp in any meal where the shrimp had a strong fishy smell and taste

Delicious food! Smaller place and it can be a little noisy. We came here on a Saturday night 20 minutes after opening and it was packed! Staff is attentive and friendly. Food is fresh and warm. We will be back.

So I love most of the food and live very locally. I ordered take out which took much longer than they quoted, at a “slower” time. For the first time I ordered a gluten free pizza and I cannot express how disgusting it was. The dough was almost pasted to the box. After prying it off, it didn’t even seem cooked. It was elasticy and almost raw looking. The actual size of the pizza was mockingly small. Absolutely worst pizza I have ever tasted. Please remove this item from the menu. It’s terrible.

Met some friends here for lunch. Ordered a Ceasar Salad with shrimp. The salad was great but the shrimp kinda dry and maybe not real fresh.
