I’m a big fan of authentic Chinese food (not American-Chinese takeout) and this place hit the spot.
The place has a more upscale ambiance but the prices were still reasonable. It had a number of dishes I haven’t seen at other Chinese restaurants.
Eggplant in garlic sauce – was very tender and flavorful.
Napa beef – had a lot of flavor and I really liked it. It was very oily though which is common at Chinese restaurants. Still delicious though.
Tea smoked duck – had a great smokey flavor with a crispy outside and tender inside. The duck plate it was served on was a nice touch.
Dishes do come with rice (some places you have to order separately). I came before the dinner rush and had no wait.

The only thing I like from this place is napa fish, rest everything is below average. We ordered 2 items through DoorDash and they sent both wrong! Pork instead of chicken and some bland chicken soup instead of tso/kung pao. I would have accepted the wrong order too but both the items tasted stale and smelled really bad. Sorry but I would not recommend online ordering from here, perhaps dining in would be better.

Love this spot!! My family has some allergies and they’re always super accommodating and the food is delicious. My faves are defs the scallion pancakes (don’t sleep on the sauce), napa fish, spicy cuttlefish, and the mapo tofu all stellarrrr 🙂

We used to love taste of china and come here frequently. And it would’ve gotten 5 stars. But on recent visits they lose a bit of the consistency. Some of our favorites like Napa Fish were still great, but Mongolian beef was oily and overused and fried beef dumplings were burned. Not sure what happened – but may be worth looking into it

Great restaurant with authentic food. Do not be dismayed by any reviews that do not seem to be on point or on subject. The staff are very in tune with how your experience is and they will pay attention to you to make sure that your service and your food is excellent. This has been our experience and everything that we tried. Here was absolutely amazing. I wish I could cook like this at home

We had a wonderful lunch here. There was an extensive choice of both vegan and non-vegan options, and there were many unique dishes that we were excited to try. Food was excellent, with the twice cooked pork (vegan) and dry tofu with peanuts being particular standouts. Service was prompt, polished, and helpful. Highly recommend this place!

We thought it was the most authentic Chinese food we have had and close to being in China. We ordered the steamed pork dumplings and sautéed chicken with 5 pepper blend. We could see and taste the pork in the dumpling and the dough was thin. The portion was perfect for two people. The chicken was full of chili peppers, ginger, and different spices including numbing pepper. The menu includes numerous dishes including tripe and we don’t usually see that on menus. The down side was it too a very long time to be seated and the restaurant was too hot. They were very short staffed I think. Reasonable prices.

Had a quick lunch here during the weekend. It was very well decorated with oriental theme. It was spacious inside. We ordered spicy beef noodle soup, pepper and pork stir fried rice and the very typical Sichuan dish- Fu Chi Fei Pian. They all came out very delicious and flavorful. The beef noodle soup was not on its menu. But I knew a restaurant specialized in Sichuan cuisine would normally have it so I asked. Sure they did! It was very spicy but tasted exactly as I had in China. And there were lots of tender tasty beef meat. I was super happy about the food. Will definitely come back.
