Pure honey of a place nestled into the heart of old Metairie! Our neighbor suggested the burgers, she likes the quality of the beef. It is true the ingredients are quality selections and the recipes quite delicious. Each dish is well thought out and the locals all crave the friendly service. One of the few old school restaurants that doesn’t show its age and has stayed in the hearts of the locals for good reason.

I wanted to try this Byblos location because the menu is more extensive than the location closest to me. Upon entering, we were told to sit wherever we’d like (which was nice). Service pretty good but the overall environment was dull. Also, the dishes looked dingy and my veggies were in a cracked bowl. We started with the stuff grapes leaves and they were pretty good! I had the redfish entree (bland). The veggies were good, but I didn’t feel comfortable eating anything that was placed on the cracked portion of the dish. The other guest had a beef gyro and the meat could have used more seasoning. The entire experience was average at best.

The tables are all really close and it was really cold. I got the chicken and beef skewers which were tender and juicy. We also started off with hummus and bacon wrapped shrimp which were both pretty good.

Just darling! I wasn’t expecting such a great experience when I decided to walk into this place on a whim.
I was in a small bites mood, so I ordered the fried halloumi (amazing), lentil soup, & hummus/bread. I’d love to try the entrees next time, but these little snacks really hit the spot. And the Lebanese tea with rose water offered up such unique flavors to wash it down.
Gorgeous atmosphere! Feels upscale & cozy. The bathrooms were the only thing that didn’t feel like a fairy tale—& they weren’t dirty, they just didn’t match the class of the rest of the place.

I went here for lunch and the waiter was nice. The food was reasonably priced and they had plenty of options. The lamb looks good and the veggies had alot of variety. will have to try the salads next time. The inside looks nice. The seating area is a bit small for the lunch crowd. Maybe an afternoon, itll be more quiet the way I like restaurants. I will have to go back when I have more time.

5-stars for friendly excellent service, cleanliness and atmosphere. 3.5-stars for food when compared to my home town (HTWN) favorite Med restaurant (Kasra). Lamb kebab was above average. Hummus and Nan bread was average.
