Tried this for the first time yesterday. It was disgusting. I got a baked potato with brisket, chicken and ribs. Brisket was dry and ribs were burnt. Only thing good was the kool aid !!!! Don’t even get me started about the rude stud worker with the dreads/glasses at the register…. Gone send her to the back with that stank attitude not to mention my potato was rotted I didn’t even bother to take it back because from the atmosphere I knew it was pointless to do!!!

I got a two meat plate which consisted of ribs, brisket, green beans, and baked beans. The ribs were cool, the brisket were two big slices but half of the slices were fat and it wasn’t very tasty. Both mid at best. The baked beans are pork and beans with bbq sauce. The green beans were good and they were the highlight. Whataburger would have been better. No I will not patronize again.

Okay? So first of all, I don’t like leaving bad reviews. But I spent $50 on 2 plates of the worst barbecue ever. This was my second time coming into this facility. The first time the food was awesome. The second time the brisket is hard. The ribs are like beef jerky. The Mac and cheese was cold. The meat was cold. We came all the way from grand priri to Dallas. To ether’s food, and it was terrible. My fiancé is still sick right now. From trying the food, I don’t know what type of crew was there. Last night on a Friday night. But they don’t never need to be in the building. Again? That was terrible service. It took them an hour to get our food together. There’s no reason for that.Y’all need to do something about this because fifty bucks 42 plates of food that was no good is.Terrible for y’all’s business

Went in on Friday. It was a steady flow of customs. Some placing and some picking up their orders. There were a few Door Dash/Uber Eats. As I got ready to place my order I was greeted.
The young man then told me “He’ll be right with me and stepped away”.
He was gone for several minutes so another young man took my order. It was ok due to the fact I was ACKNOWLEDGED.
The music was kinda loud coming from the kitchen.

Stranger With Standards
I ordered the 2-meat baked potato and the 2-meat nachos. The baked potato was extremely dry, and they only gave me one BBQ sauce packet to split between both the nachos and the potato.
I had this place last year and it was decent, but something has definitely changed. The food this time was very bland, and the meat did not taste fresh at all.
I’m being completely honest when I say the main reason I’m writing this review is because my stomach has been messed up ever since eating there. This was the only thing I ate yesterday, and my wife is having the exact same symptoms, so I know it wasn’t just me. I don’t know if it was food poisoning, but it was enough to make us both feel sick.
Spending nearly $30–40 and driving 28 minutes just to be that disappointed is frustrating. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.
I went against the grain because I know sometimes that people will leave bad reviews just because in some situations,but please listen to the reviews and save your money…my stomach is on TEN!!!!

Kansas City BBQ is running circles around Doe’s!! They are alittle bit overhyped by the owner. I first had their brisket sandwich which I have had way better quality tasting brisket. Took my son to see his opinion on the loaded potatoes, first they are drenched in bbq , the potato was dry like they kept reheating it until someone ordered and the ribs are trash. They are also stingy with the simple condiments. I paid for extra sour cream they charged me for but didn’t put any sour cream on the potato just a very small cup to the side lol. The front counter guy/ stud is slightly rude and very short as like he hates his job lol ( get a better one) so I was generous and gave 2 stars. They need better cooks overall and recipe makeover. This place isn’t even in the top 10 bbq spots of DFW.

I can tell this is a family owned business and I definitely support it!! Food is amazing this was my 1st time coming and I’ll definitely be back! The wait time was little excessive but I did order 4 potatoes. Overall food is a 10/10 for us. Ribs were so delicious,juicy and flavorful as well!

Well, the workers were cussing each other out in front of customers. Loud rap music playing. I asked for no sour cream on my potato when I got home. There was sour cream on my potato. The little that I could eat was great which was a small piece of rib. 10/04/2025 order 2 rib plates, it was the worst ribs I every had. They were old and hard with burnt parts. The macaroni and cheese was over cooked and tasted mushy. The dinner roll straight from the bag, cold and smashed. Baked beans came right out the can, with nothing added to them. And they were the best part of the meal.

Wait was longer than expected but after tasting the food it was worth it!!! Haven’t been in a while until the other day but the peppers are much bigger now & even spicier. Both owners & cashier were nice. The wife speaks upon entrance & automatically offers a few selections. I’ll be back for sure but wish they’d actually do your call in orders instead of waiting till you arrive. Or even offer payment over the phone so they’ll start on the food & i can run in & just grab it. Unfortunately my job only gives me 30 minutes for lunch so I can only go on off days now to prevent from being late. However i get it they want to serve only fresh food but i stay only 6 minutes away. Other than that everything was definitely worth every dolla

Absolutely phenomenal The people were friendly and clearly knew what they were doing. The place was clean and busy. And the food was so good it had me swearing We shared the stuffed baked potato and all the meats were juicy, smokey, and flavorful. The serving size was generous. And the sauce was beautifully seasoned.
I drove an hour to get there and didn’t regret it at all. I hope this place has all the success in the world
