Absolutely phenomenal! The barbecue is awesome, and The potato salad is the best I’ve ever had in my life! Try the turkey leg! My boyfriend had the rib tip meal and loved it. The weekday menu is a lot of the classics, but the weekend menu has even more options, so we can’t wait to go back on a weekend! This is the best barbecue in Pontiac or Waterford!

Ordered a brisket for my baby shower. It was 45 minutes late so we were expecting it to be phenomenal. However, $187.20 for absolute TRASH that we won’t even be serving to our guests. Tastes and looks like it was cooked in the oven. Swimming in fat with no seasoning. Super tough and no smoke taste whatsoever. Justified the price by supporting a small black owned business but NEVER again. Don’t waste your funds.

Went in with my husband expecting Turkey Wings and was told we only a told we only have Turkey Legs. Restaurant just opened up at 3 pm on a Saturday. Restaurant was set up for Buffet style but no food, I ordered Turkey and Macaroni and cheese and string beans. Oh I got a Faygo pop. I’m sorry the only good thing from this meal was the faygo orange pop. My husband got 2 pork chops and the were fried very crispy and hard, he couldn’t eat them because they were overcooked. They had the back door open and all kinds of flies were coming in also the man taking the order wasn’t aware of all the things they didn’t have… that sucked.

Tony Williams aka TDubbs is a wonderful person and great cook. The restaurant looks fairly spartan, but don’t let that fool you. The food is delicious and the value is good since you get a hefty portion of meat and a hefty portion of 2 sides along with corn bread. I usually make a minimum of 2 meals out of one dinner order. The Swagg Sauce (BBQ sauce) as they call it is delicious. It has a nice flavor and just enough heat to accompany the flavor. It’s my Go To BBQ place.

I really suggest you all update the hours you’re actually open. Let people know to call first or put ‘hours may vary’ … this is the second time we drove 20 mins to come eat here. First time was about a month ago, checked hours and you were “open” stating from 12 to 9pm, get there to a sign on the door saying won’t be opening until 3pm!?!?! Okay, we were disappointed but let it go and went down the street to hero’s.
Today 5/29 Wed , we decided to give it a go and you guys are once again closed for the day. Super frustrating and won’t be attempting to return again. I understand things happen but this is a restaurant and the hours listed should be correct for this to happen 2× in less than 5 week period of time , wasting my time.

Food was alright. I did like the rib tips. But the brisket was less than desirable. Brisket was tough and tasted like a pot roast. There was no smoke ring in the brisket. Seems like it was cooked in the oven and not on the grill. Kinda disappointed about it, they’re charging premium prices but only selling pot roast with a little bit of sauce on top. I’ll try again and give them another chance. Hopefully it’s better than the first time. The smoked green beans had more smoke ring than the brisket.

The food is outstanding, but what’s more impressive is Tony’s customer service. He always seems to go above and beyond to create a great experience. In my opinion, it is the best bbq in the area, from mains, to sides, to dessert. Some of the dishes are only available on the weekends, so make sure to call ahead if you have a taste for something specific.

This was our first time coming here and they do not disappoint!! The service was excellent we were greeted as soon as we came in! The food was served hot and fresh. We got home and we’re overly thrilled with the quantity and quality of the food we ordered. My husband loved the catfish sandwich and we loved the ribs as well. The desert was good even though it was only a sliver that he wasn’t selling due to running out of sweets for the day. Everything we had was very good! We love supporting small businesses and we will be back to enjoy more items in the menu. Thank u so much for your business and customer service! It was a pleasure trying out your establishment!
