Food is great, owners are great, but one of the waitress seems to have an attitude problem wouldn’t say excuse me or anything just push her way around when serving the food.

Exceptional services! Perfect combo menu for any parties. Went there with my family and all enjoyed so much. The owner and the employees are always welcoming guests with smiles, just an icing on the cake. Must go places with you want to have Korean bbq near in Deerfield! Went there 2 times in 2 weeks already!

We came here for lunch with our family and we had a combo and order a few meat dishes! The service was quick and we had a good amount of ban chans and you can get it refilled! I like the rib eye the best!

Delish. Been going here for years, and it’s the best. Great staff, very attentive. Excellent food. I highly recommend it.

Very disappointed with the service. The rice, soup, and side sauces came after we had already finished the meat. The staff didn’t seem to care, and we had to wait for everything. On top of that, a tip was automatically added to the bill, even though we didn’t receive service worth tipping for. Definitely not coming back.

I really want to give them a better rating but based on what happened I can’t. My wife and I went with the all you can eat option for $35. The food was good and the side dishes were excellent. I can’t say anything bad about the food. The issue was when we had to pay the bill. We were charged a 20% gratuity by “accident”. Funny how we weren’t charged 15% or 18%.

This is not to say that I wouldn’t have given them a 20% tip, but I would have liked to have been given the option. I want people to know so that if this happens to them, they can refuse politely. I am OK with the 20% tip but forcing it on a customer without them agreeing to it is a bit shady and I want people to be aware of it if it happens to them. If you are going to charge people 20%, then just say so. But to give them the option of 15%, 18%, and 20% and then just charge them 20% is disingenuous.

EDIT: After reading every one of the reviews, it seems like the 20% gratuity wasn’t an “accident”. It is their standard charge. I am perfectly fine with that, just say so on your website and menu. If you go to this restaurant, just beware that this is their policy. You have been warned.

Wasn’t worth the drive or price. It’s 22.99 per person w/18% gratuity tacked on. They only have 6 meats on the menu and if you want extra rice or sides, there is an extra cost for them, even for extra lettuce. It’s a minimum 2 person rule, however they did allow me to dine by myself. I don’t want to say they are prejudice but they definitely have preferential treatment towards the Asian community from what I saw while eating. The sauces given with the KBBQ are either too salty or really really bland. I asked for soy sauce and got an attitude from the server then was made to put meat on the grill when I had a full plate of meat already cooked. By the time I cooked all the meat and was able to eat it all, 80% of it was cold. Overall, it’s only a 3/5 because the service wasn’t great, the seasoned meats didn’t taste like they had seasoning on them and there is only 6 meats and the auto gratuity is ridiculous.

Price has increased from 22.99$ to 32.99$ per person for meat BBQ. 20% tips are paid automatically at the end. Food is ok. We were charged 85$ for two people. Try to come in little early if you can, they only got one waitress in restaurant. waitress is too busy, she wouldn’t be able to serve or help much during rush hours.

Had a LA Galbi and Spicy Buckwheat Noodle Combo. The LA galbi was so soft and juicy, had a lot of meat! The Noodle was so fresh and delicious too. The staffs are very friendly. Highly recommend.

If you enjoy Korean food try Kogii Kogii. If you love Korea barbecue you must go to Kogii Kogii in Deerfield, Illinois. I have been enjoying the food in this location for many years, even when it was the Pine Garden. We didn’t need to look through a menu, since their all you can eat Korean barbecue menu is posted right there on the wall above our table. There is a choice of five or six meats to choose. You start with two and then go from there. Ask for whole garlic to grill along with the meats. Lettuce leaves and side dish were preset for our reservation, so we had some food to enjoy right away. The food is very fresh and delicious. You do some of the grilling yourselves, but they assisted a lot and brought out more meat as we asked. With a few drinks, tax and tip included it ran about $100. Per couple. It is worth the price and we ate like no tomorrow.
Put this restaurant on you list and enjoy!
